My first purchase from Aitoro’s was a stereo record player in 1972 with my first paycheck. Forty five years later, I’m still shopping there. I trust the products they sell and the service is what gives me a secure feeling about the purchase. My frig broke 2 days before the closing on my house which was sure to complicate matters. While Aitoro’s couldn’t get there until 2 hours after the closing, they guaranteed the repair at no charge. I should have been charged for labor but they didn’t charge anything because of my delima. I was overcome with relief and gratitude. The 15 year old dishwasher in my new house just broke and I wouldn’t shop anywhere else to replace it.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. We have lived in Fairfield County for the last 8 years and have always heard how «customer friendly» they were suppose to be. Don’t believe it. I had a technician in our home to service my Viking cooktop on April 15, 2015. 5 out of 6 burners were not (and still not) working. The technician said that he needed «to order the parts» and would be back to me within the next week or two with an update. I gave him 4 weeks and finally I called. The service department couldn’t find my «paperwork» and they would have someone «call me right back.» They never called. I called back again a few weeks later. No return phone call. I kept calling and finally the technician called me back and said he was «looking into it» never heard from him again. Finally this morning (almost 6 months later) I called AGAIN for the 7^th or 8^th time. They said that they would have someone call me back and I said No I would wait.
I was on hold for 10 minutes when they put the technician on the phone. He said that it would it take at least 15 minutes for their «computer to boot up»!!! What? They had been open for almost an hour and they don’t have access to their computers? I said I would wait on hold. He comes back on the phone a few minutes later (clearly they were scrambling to find my file in their system) and he said «oh Viking was sold a year ago and they discontinued the parts» I asked him if he was serious? He wanted me to believe that Viking no longer serviced any of their cooktops in the entire country? I told him that couldn’t be possible.
I then asked to speak to a manager. He told me that NO MANAGERS HAD COME IN YET!!! The store had been open and there was no one in charge who I could speak to? He said sorry but there wasn’t. I told him that for a company that prides itself on customer service that they should be embarrassed that this how all of this was handled. I also told him that I would rather have taken this up with someone in charge but he left me no choice but to write a review.
Bottom line is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Think twice before using them.

Service is horrible. They miss dates (tell you hours into day of delivery they will not make it), lose numbers (they seem to have poor technology for tracking phone numbers and other information), have to come back multiple times (because they are not properly trained). Literally one of the worst customer experiences in my life. I bought multiple appliances with small issues that became large issues because they are so disorganized. I seriously recommend going some place else. They are a broken organization and no fix is in the mix, Service is run separate from sales.

I just completed the purchase of appliances to redo my kitchen in New Canaan. I worked with Joe Land and the purchase process was great. Joe helped me pick out a Viking refrigerator, a Marvel wine cooler, a Kitchen Aid trash compactor and a Wolf cooktop. They arrived on a timely basis and the appliance guy, John, installed the handles and stayed until the appliances all worked. Previously, we had purchased the KitchenAid dishwasher and the Wolf doubleoven from Aitoro. what a wonderful kitchen. John

We have bought many appliances at Aitoro’s over the years. Family run, you meet the owner, if there is any issue, they respond immediately. It’s also great to support locally owned family business vs the big box stores so happy to do business with them!~

Excellent service, help in choosing a new oven, quick and professional installation are just a few of the compliments I can give Aitora Appliances! Our oven died and it was just a few days before we had family coming to celebrate the 4^th of July when my son recommended Aitoro. John could not have been more helpful in helping me find the right oven within our price range. He promised it would be delivered and installed on a certain day and sure enough for once it actually was.
We have used Associated Appliance in the past for years and found them to be unreasonable and not reliable at all! There is NO comparison to Aitoro and will only be making future purchases with them. Can’t say enough good things!

Yes I give them five stars because Linda makes my appliance shopping less painful than I find it to be. It’s so unpleasant yet I’m always needing to do it. She is so helpful to ease the burden. They often have freshly baked cookies in there too. Yummy.

We have purchased a few items from Aitoro’s and have been extremely happy with our new appliances, service and especially our salesman, Ken G. We would never go anywhere else for appliances, TV’s, anything that we can purchase from Aitoro’s. Supporting local family owned businesses is where we purchase as we are small business owners too. We highly recommend Aitioro’s for all your shopping needs.

Last fall I bought a gas stove from them. They promised delivery by thanksgiving. That didn’t happen… why because they delivered it to the wrong address. After waiting all day for my delivery I and having called them severs times that day to get things straight they still did not fulfill their promise.
So no thanksgiving dinner in my home.
Finally a few days after thanksgiving they delivered it without any advance notice.
Luckily I was home for lunch that day. Upon delivery they left it in the middle of my kitchen. They did not connect it and did not slide it into place nor did they level the unit.
To this day my stove is still not level. I have called numerous times to no avail.
Never again will I go to aitoro. They are absolutely the worst! They simply don’t care.

Have spent well over $ 30,000 at Aitoro over the last 10 years, remodeling our kitchen being the biggest part of that number. I needed to replace the Marvel wine cooler we bought from Aitoro 10 years ago. I was encouraged to go with Marvel again by the salesman, which I did. I have had the cooler in my house roughly 6 months now. In those 6 months, it has functioned correctly less than half that time. The repairman from Aitoro has been out to ‘fix’ it no less than 6 times. Still does not work. Bob, who runs the repair department at Aitoro, does not return phone calls. Beyond frustrating. I am ready to dump the wine cooler in the Aitoro parking lot.

Went to Aitoro based on ads and they are local business and i like to promote local businesses. Purchased a Bosch washer and dryer combo — one of the higher priced products. From the moment i got it home it was a problem — call the store, they take no responsibility for anything once it leaves — they directed me to an outside appliance service center. The installer from Aitoro did not install the pieces correctly, the dryer was not running, also the dryer was not attached to the mounting bracket it could have fallen off of on top of the washer and landed on myself or anyone walking by it. I had to have the equipment serviced at least 3 times within less than a year of purchase. The store never acknowledged the issues, i had to pay the service people who came out to service the equipment, never an apology or acknowledgement from them. At one point as frustrated as i was i was going to take legal action they then sent me a check to reimburse for the appliance repair bills. The dryer still does not function properly and it is less than 2 yrs old. At this point i am attempting to find another brand that can fit on top of the Bosch washer appropriately. I would never shop at this store ever again nor recommend it based on the worst level of customer service i have ever seen and the fact that they don’t even have any level of service staff in house nor are the people that they do have qualified to install the equipment that they sell… very disappointing, you should be ashamed…

Initially I had issues with the subzero refrigerator and was told it should be replaced. Subzero stands behind it’s product unlike any other appliance mfg that I have ever dealt with. They give you an incentive to buy from them again (regardless of the age of your refrig). They send you to the Clarke showroom in Norwalk and suggest certified dealers. I purchased the refrig from Aitoro’s and had a very positive experience with Phil Mahoney (Director of Sales) and Dave (Delivery). Phil was knowledgeable about the intricacies of the product versus its competitors. He wasn’t pushy with closing the sale. He knew it was an expensive purchase and he allowed me the time to make my decision. Once I did, delivery was coordinated efficiently by Dave .They use CL Appliances exclusively to install. James Drescher and Glen Goodwin were exceptional! They covered the wood floors adequately and cleaned the dirty floor before replacing it with the new refrig. They even went out of there way and assisted me with emptying out the old one and putting the food into the new. They went above and beyond my expectations! This was a very smooth and efficient process (not sure how they were able to navigate the big refrig into the narrow passageway but they angled it well). Everyone involved in the purchase of this product was exceptional. My advice: Buy from Aitoro’s, use CL Appliance to install and if you can, buy Subzero.

Needed all new kitchen appliances for newly renovated house, after extensive research and shopping around the Fairfield county area, I found the best deals at Aitoro. However I had to return a fridge and range hood due to an architectural error and after reading some reviews was panicking that I would get hit with exorbitant fees and poor post purchasing service. My experience couldn’t be further from the truth. Tom and Eric were completely patient and understanding. They waived restocking fees and allowed me to exchange the appliances for a nominal charge. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Aitoro and will definitely be returning.

We furnished out home with all our appliances from Aitoros, over the past 20 year. In addition, my parents were happy customers for over 30 years. Their prices are fair, the service was excellent and the delivery guys got the job done right and fast… taking away all the packing materials and trash… we couldn’t be happier!
If you haven’t been in to the show room, you are missing out on what is an amazing displace of kitchens, TVs, washers, dryers and fridges… in addition, in the back, they have some incredible BBQ options… plus the place always had fresh baked cookies on the front counter… what more could you ask for?
when you are there, ask to meet Tony A (the owner), you will never met a more genuine and gracious man…

A relic of a time well past. If this place is around in a few years I would be surprised. Go find another store that offers support post sale.

My review is purely on service. The lady was nice but the service guy who called 8 am for the afternoon appointment had the worst attitude. Bitched and moaned about our location (use a GPS, dude) and then wanted me to tell him exactly what was wrong. I ended telling him to not bother. Unbelievable.

DON’T BUY HERE. Run don’t walk and go to another store.
While they might seem pleasant when selling an appliance or TV, the follow on service is the worst. In fact, the term worst is too nice for them.
They are nasty to begin with. They don’t follow up with the committed times. They do not return phone calls. They do not get the work done. It takes many calls and listening to nasty responses before you can get the work scheduled, them showing up on time, and the work completed. Consider any job to take months.
The companies selling to them are ruining their names by being part of this horrible and unfriendly store.

Last year we purchase all new kitchen appliances except for a new fridge including a wine cooler from Aitoro. Sales people were patient and extremely helpful. My wife went to the store no less than 3 times. Compared pricing and they were the best. Everything was purchased, delivered and installed without a hitch.
This year the fridge went (should have got it with the remodel, oh well) My wife and I went to the store and Ken helped us navigate through all the possible models. We bought one. They said it would be delivered in two days and first thing two days later, there they were. Ah, but the ice maker didn’t work. So, I called this morning first thing, they said they would have Ernie get back to me. Instead around 11:00am, John called and said could he come now? Are you kidding, yes, in 5 min. there he was ringing our door bell. He checked it out. It was the copper pipe, must be kink in the line. He fixed it. Then I told him about how the door doesn’t close right because the opening is too small (not Aitoro’s fault). Well 5 min. later after making adjustments John fixed it, and with a smile. He was awesome!
I read some of the other customers comments but that’s mine and I’m stick’n to it. I will absolutely continue to buy from them and recommend them as well. Ed L., Wilton

Dreadfully rude customer service!
Quick to take your order but try to get in delivered… one hand does not know what the other is doing.
I would highly recommend that you find ANOTHER store to purchase your appilances.
Will not use again

My mother in law was kind enough to have her used dryer delivered to our House and it was placed on our porch since we were not home. We came home to find gouges in the porch flooring from them sliding the dryer. I’ve been in the service business for many years and also a mover for about 3 years. In all my years as I’ve never seen anything like this. They didn’t even try to cover up the crime. However after numerous calls with no reply, we spoke to the manager and now they are saying after 9 days it’s not the fault of the drivers even after apologizing. Just so you know the same driver who delivered the dryer also stole a tool from the house they got it from which was reimbursed to my mother in law. They may have been in business since 1940’s but it still doesn’t give them the right to the homeowners LIARS!
