We use Goldwell European color and Bumble and bumble styling products. We have licensed massage therapists that offer traditional and deep tissue as well as ashiatsu massage.

History

Established in 1996.

Northeast Ohio natives Matt and Lisa Herner founded Christian Roberts Salon and Spa in 1996. They came up with the idea after reading through «100 Best Businesses to Start.» The salon has grown from just two to over 30 team members in the past 19 years.

I have been going to Christian Roberts and seeing Missy for my hair for years… even after two moves further and further away from Norwalk. The past two years after having children, I just couldn’t justify the 3 hour drive. I loved Missy so much for several years I would drive 3 hours to see her to get my hair done. Also, every spa procedure (pedicure, facial, massage) I have ever had has been wonderful. This is a big city salon/​spa in a small town.

Today I had the pleasure of having my first spa facial. I was nervous because I’ve always thought having a facial would irritate my skin and cause me to break out… I was way wrong! After my facial was finished, I looked in the mirror and I was in awe. My skin was glowing, radiant and looked more youthful. The facial lasted for 60 minutes, and I was extremely relaxed in the room. The lights were dim and they had relaxing music playing in the background. It was the perfect setting. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The staff and spa exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend this salon & spa to anyone I know!

Their services aren’t of the same quality as you’d find in other places. They’re not as up on the latest hair/​skin trends as they claim to be and they’re not as knowledgable as they could be. I’ve gotten much better service from Aveda salons and other Bumble & bumble salons. The stylists don’t really listen to what you want, and they burned me during my last eyebrow wax. Definitely won’t be coming back for waxing.

Great salon and service! Everything is top quality from the atmosphere, head massages, expert coloring to hand/​arm massages. I’m from Hawaii, used to top quality city salon. Christian Roberts is a rare gem in Ohio, I travel an hour to my appointments because no other salon comes close.

I went there in May while I was in town for a wedding. The pedicure and manicure were phenomenal! My aunt has been a client there for a while and always looks beautiful. Missy does a great job on hair. I can’t remember the name of the girl who did my nails, but she was very sweet and very professional. I live in Los Angeles and I’ve never had a better manicure or pedicure. Christian Roberts really takes their time. The staff is very, very excellent!
