Love the new rustic décor. Great service, food as usual very good. I had the french toast with blueberry capote. The blue berry sauce was great & it wasn’t drowned in sugar. Coffee was okay I remember it having a better taste. My Love had the steak & eggs — he Loved the home potatoes & portions still so generous. We’ve been coming here for years and the service and the food has not lost it’s appeal.

First time I checked this place out was on Mother ‘s Day, it was fairly busy but we were well taken care of. I got the French toast breakfast special, it was delicious! The family said we have to come back again, FWD. We came another day for dinner and ordered the chicken enchiladas, I was not disappointed. The flavor was great and tasty! I’ve been to other Mexican restaurants that charge so much but the food isn’t as good as this one! By the way the name has changed to «Pepe Jones Café»

This a decent place for breakfast, plates are good portions, the waiter is just some slow and sees me with no drink and no suggest to ask, the food tastes good and price is cheap so $ 20 for breakfast for 2 is good deal

First off the name of the restaurant has been changed to PEPEJONES. I went in a few weeks ago and introduced myself to the owner, Tom. I told him I was going to have a gathering of about 25 people in 3 weeks and could he handle it. Tom told me yes and that he would put us in the banquet room at the south end of the restaurant. I said that would be great and he could expect us at one or two pm on April the 18th, 2016. To my surprise 40 people showed up at my parking lot .We went to Pepe’ Jones and his 4 waitresses, Rosa, Hilda, Letty and Mary pulled off a miracle. Everyone was very happy with the food and we took home a lot of doggie bags because the portions are big. Go to PEPEJONES you won’t be disappointed, especially if you go for breakfast.

Great little place my friend took me to for breakfast. We both ordered the«Country Fried Steak.» Comes with eggs and two sides. I got the hash browns and biscuits w/gravy and he got hash browns and toast. Everything was really good and really fresh. The customer service was wonderful. Always checking on us and making sure our drinks were topped off. Prices are great and you get a lot of food. Will definitely be back again to try something new!

Big breakfasts aren’t usually my thing, but if I am looking for breakfast options, I gravitate more towards mom and pop places then your typical Denny’s. Found Pepe Jones through my Unilocal app and it was super close to the dealership where I was getting my car oil changed. We came at 8am on Tuesday and it was fairly busy inside. Menu is huge! Typical American breakfast fare, Mexican breakfasts and Mexican lunch entrees were served. I got the Pepe Jones breakfast special($ 5.95) Served M — F. It came with 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, home fries and some toast. The plate it was very sizable and the home fries were thinly cut scalloped potatoes. I like everything but felt the plate was a little under seasoned. Which is totally ok, because I like to control my sodium intake. Bf got the pork chile verde omelette.($ 9.95). It came with a side of rice and beans and also tortillas. That plate was huge. The pieces of pork were very tender! Very filling breakfast. Hot chocolate was good too($ 1.95). Free refills and not very sweet. On the day we came, service was really attentive and nice. Even though more customers kept coming in, I thought they were able to serve everyone pretty well. Great little breakfast joint!

The wifey and I stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised the food was fresh and other than The Pantry or Arthur’s can you get an actual bone in ham steak that it’s worth it !!! The staff is nice and the owner walks around and checks to see if your having good experience. Aces in my book !!!

Ate here a few days ago with my wife. A little slow in getting us our menus and coffee. But once the first cup was poured, it never stopped. Our waiter, I wish I remembered his name, was very attentive and curtious. As for the food, I had the Huevos Rancheros and they tasted pretty good to me, no complaints there. My wife had the basic 2 eggs, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy and she liked them just as much. Price, food, service, were all good. Could use a little updating but other than taht definitely see myself coming back.

was a curly regular but god forbid i asked for the wrong type of eggs ‚& the rude. unfriendly waitress whom thinks i must speak spanish to her. i was born & raised here. i have no trouble understanding spanish, she said i told you i am not going to exchange my egg by correcting it for the right one ! i thought the customer was always right .not very professional o. her part as a waitress, shouldn’t work for the public & wear a smile., never going there ever again #

I came here because my gym is across the street and I heard good things from the owner of the gym. Tried it out and been coming ever since. The steak and eggs are truest a meal for a lumberjack and made exactly the way you order it. Other breakfast plates are just as good and prices are fair for the quality and service provided. Surprised this place doesn’t have better reviews!

This place has been a staple in the city of Norwalk since I was a kid. It used to be in a different location but it always blew away Dennys and was very comparable to eating at a Norms restaurant. I still enjoy coming to the new place, I believe they are only open for breakfast and lunch now. I have never had any issues with service. Always attentive and making sure my coffee is full. I pretty much always order the steak and eggs, one time I had a problem with how the steak tasted and it was taken back and a new one brought out without a problem. I usually visit during the week so I can’t talk about how the service is when the place gets packed but like I said earlier, I have never had a problem. The coffee is delicious, strong and the food has always been good. To the owners or chefs of this place I would just like to add that you may want to make sure that everything coming out of your kitchen is the best it can be. I feel bad that people are writing such bad reviews so I would just suggest that you do your best so that these reviews get turned around and more people frequent your establishment.

First and last time here. The reviews don’t lie. Service was slow and sucked. They forgot our salad and our biscuit w/gravy(both items came with the meal) how how does this happen. There were only 3 other tables with customers. and she claims she was so busy she forgot.. Also all the food was below average. DON’T WASTEYOURTIME. GOTOROSEWOODITS A LOTBETTER.

I was curious since I hadn’t been to Curly Jones this millennium. My wing Diablo aka Cameron aka RainMan met me there. The«American Food» here is Border line mediocre. I ordered the Avocado, cheese omelet and home fries. Bland, bland, bland. I might as well have asked for a paper napkin with a little cheese and catsup combined with foam packing peanuts served on my plate. DCR simply bathes his food in salsa and loudly exclaims«la comida es vicosa y sabrosa. Felicito el cocinero». Translation — «Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?» The staff knows DCR there as «El Gallo» due to the fact that he always orders his signature chicken quesadilla. Flour tortilla, Shredded chicken, avocado, bacon grease, hash browns, more chicken, Monterrey jack cheese, red and green salsa, pinto beans, sour cream and a generous scoop of mayonnaise with red onions strategically sprinkled for presentation purposes. This place used to rock breakfast when they were at their old location. Truckers would park in their lot. They used to have one of the best hamburgers in the south east LA County. They simply no longer know how to cook traditional«American Food». The Service was pleasant however, I wont be coming back. They should simply promote themselves as another ubiquitous Mexican restaurant in the vast SoCal culinary landscape.

Chile Verde Omelet is freaking awesome! One of the specials written on the wall if you enter through the front door on San Antonio. Meal comes with hash browns or my favorite, home fries with onions and peppers, toast/biscuit gravy, and of course the omelet. Three egg omelet stuffed with delicious pork and topped with more pork and chile verde sauce. It was delicious! Goes perfectly with piping hot home fries, wheat toast and a coffee. Probably my new favorite thing here at Curly’s! Try it!
