Franklin Philip Salon began with a BANG ! Back in 1977, Philip and Franklin were determined to offer an alternative to a world of traditional beauty parlors, roller sets, and aerosol spray cans. Not sure where to start this revolution in hair, they decided to put on a show. Not just any show, but a new kind of fashion show, aptly titled «The Art Of Better Living Symposium». Best described as a brazen attempt to publicly mock tradition and embrace innovation in Beauty and Health. Standing before a crowd in excess of 300 people. Philip began with a deafening CRASH by pushing a bonnet style hair dryer off –the –stage proclaiming a «New Age of Wash and Wear Hair. » Creating Hair Styles cut so perfectly that they needed only to be shampooed to fall into place, Since those early days, Franklin Philip Salon has continued to refine its approach to creating beautiful hair by studying the intricacies and nuances of natural styling and applying these high — standards to everything we do.
