The food was pretty decent, but a little on the expensive side. This place would’ve gotten a 4 star if the waiter wasn’t so dumb. I ordered a steak and I asked for utensils and he comes back with chopsticks… now I felt a little offended, and even though I may be asian, its pretty damn hard to cut a steak with 2 sticks… other than that, this was your standard run of the mill fusion place… even though I don’t quite see what the japanese cuisine was fused with.

I really wanted to love this place. The décor was unique and engaging from the get-go. Kind of an asian inspired meets industrial post-modern. Bottom line-the food was pretty good but just didn’t wow. The food just didn’t seem to pop with a unique identity of it’s own, maybe trying to do too many things. Service was good, slow at times. Did I mention overpriced? 2.5 stars.
