The PTC Story. ..

Before Michael (Owner/​Founder) first opened the doors to PTC in 1985, he came to the U.S. with only $ 700 in hand, a loan from his twin brother. Even though he didnt speak a word of English, his vision was to create the best dry-​cleaning establishment in Fairfield County, CT.

Opening day 1985, Michael was a one-​man show — becoming the company’s owner, production manager, quality control inspector, tailor, dry-​cleaner, spot technician, all in one.

Over the years, however, Michael developed a systematic approach to dry cleaning, expanded his team, and evolved from a neighborhood dry-​cleaner to a première establishment trusted by individuals from all walks of life.

Opening day 1985, Michael became the company’s owner, production manager, quality control inspector, tailor, dry-​cleaner, spot technician, bookkeeper, accountant, sales manager, route driver, and customer service representative — all in one!

Fast forward to the present. PTC has grown to 7 full-​time staff members, each skilled in their own craft. Over the years, PTC evolved from a neighborhood dry-​cleaner to a première establishment trusted by individuals from all walks of life, for their dry cleaning needs.

And as much as our expertise has grown over time, PTC’s core values have remained the same: provide our customers with unparalleled professionalism, expertise, and convenience.
