RC Eventz

The initial service I received from RC Events in May 2015 was superb. I ordered about 40 – 50 chiavari chairs only couple of days before my event and received my delivery on time, they picked up a day later but that was no biggie since he event was at my house. Now the issue I have months later is that my card was charged $ 800 in October without any contact or any info as to why I was being charged. I contacted them prior to my credit card company and inquired and was told I would receive a call back which I’m still waiting for. I called back multiple times before disputing with my card company and received no answer. I decided to call back today and number was disconnected. I never check my statements in detail (lesson learned) but please make sure you are not being charged down the line.

I came to this company for my wedding because of there prices and because when I spoke to them they said they did events for casinos and other big places, therefore thought they were trustworthy. Long story short, they do not deliver on a timely manner or follow up when you call them to let them know you are missing things. When they were told they do a horrible job and that even there own employees say so they make up some bs about other «Arabic» companies trying to ruin there business and that we Mexicans are supposed to stick together. I don’t know what one thing has to do with the other. Not only that, they also gave me a bogus refund check and until this date Laura does not respond to my message. I keep a copy of the check because they will hear from me soon. It’s better to pay more for quality work and someone trustworthy. The owners son is in on it too. Beware!

This company is truly awful! We used them last year for an event and they were so late we almost didn’t have chairs for the guests. And this year for the same event I only agreed to use them again because they assure me they were under new management and there would be no mistakes. They were supposed to have the chairs removed from the building my noon and the chairs are still sitting there! I’ve called 17 times and not received and answer. I’ve texted 6 times and still no response. Additionally, I’ve sent 5 emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are terrible!

We delt with Laura for my best friend’s wedding and it was a complete disaster! Don’t do business with these people… they are the most untruthful people to deal with! They owed us money for services they didn’t provide and wrote us a bogus check which bounced after they closed their bank account! They also do business under Elegant Chivari Chairs which is a fictitious business to deceive people! If I could give them negative stars I would!

We chose to use this company for chivari chairs before all these reviews were posted. Our story goes a little like this, my mother in law is a wedding planner and wanted to give this «new» local company a shot to prove themselves after «Laura» reached out to my MIL.
When we first started the process with RC Events our guest count was at 300 people so we PayPal-​ed what we thought was going to be a deposit (ended up being the total cost 300 chairs). We were told when we got closer to the day we could reduce our total and would be refunded so we decreased our number to 250.
RC Events had us down for a 1pm delivery, my Catholic ceremony started at 2pm (the first truck came and dropped some chairs off during our ceremony) then we had pictures after. As a bride who is familiar with the industry I was shocked to see a delivery truck (this was the second one) with chairs being unloaded as I arrived to my venue during my cocktail hour! After my grand entrance I noticed there were a lot of classroom chairs being used.
I guess the third delivery truck decided he was going to be too late and went home instead. Laura said we would get a refund but now 2 months and 2 weeks later we are waiting for our refund.
If you comment or post on their Facebook stating the truth you will be blocked. I guess some people never learned right from wrong or were not raised with morals!

I was a guest at a wedding they were suppose to provide chairs for. But because they did not follow through on the services they promised I had to sit in a school chair that was from the church where the wedding was at. I would not waste your money renting from this place.

BUYER BEWARE! NOT TO BE TRUSTED! OWES ME MONEY! HAS LIED AND NOT PAID IR OR REFUNDED. NOT DEPENDABLE! IRRESPONSIBLE!!! I own my own event planning company and have used many different vendors. I had been using a different chair vendor with the same pricing but i received an email from RC a year prior to my own sons wedding and decided to try them, I like to build relationships with new small businesses. They only had to deliver chairs, how difficult is that. We were at a venue in Anaheim on a major streets, easy to find. I should have known something was up when I paid for the chairs. The owner had told me 50% down and when I went to pay through PayPal, it automatically took the whole amount. I knew I over ordered chairs and so I contacted the owner telling her that I would be needing a partial refund because I had a feeling I was over ordering but I did not know the specific amount. That is why I only wanted to pay 50%. She assured me that I would be refunded. A week prior to the event I sent her a very detailed timeline that instructed her to deliver the chairs at 1 at the venue. She responded that all was ok. I had reduced the amount of chairs two weeks prior but I still had not received my refund. On the day of the event, my day of coordinator calls me as soon as church was over and told me the chairs were not there, actually 70ish of the chairs were there, the other 200 were not there. I started to call, text and email but of course, there was no answer. I arrived at the reception venue and there was a large truck blocking the driveway. He had the first set of chairs and had assured my DOC that that the other chairs were 10 min behind him (that was two hours ago). I asked him to call his boss and he did, they spoke in Spanish which I find unprofessional in font of others and she refused to talk to me. I had no chairs for my elderly and disabled guests to sit on during the cocktail hour. I had to shift my time for everything. When the chairs arrived my caterer had to carry them in and set them up and I had guests tying cushions. Some of the chairs were the wrong color and the cushions were wrong. Also we were still short chairs. The driver told us he would go get the rest and he would be right back, he never came back and I had to seat guests on school chairs taken from the venue. My sons reception was over an hour behind. When they came to pick up the chairs they were late, big surprise, and the owner called and fired the guys while they were picking up the chairs. This caused the venue to be over two hours beyond my contracted time. The ineptitude is unbelievable. None owner said she would give me a full refund. I have received nothing, not even the original amount of the chairs that I did not order, hit the amount fir the chairs shorted and not the amount she said she would refund. She is a LIAR.

You get what you pay for when working with Lilly and RC Eventz — horrible service, false promises and every other negative emotion you can imagine. While I have worked with a number of other companies that offer «affordable services» I have never had such a bad experience!
Lilly promised me an on time delivery, the correct amount of dish and flatware, 300 chairs (which were to be reconditioned), and clean and pressed linens. I got non of these! Two day prior, when the delivery was arranged for, RC Eventz was a no show! I waited around for 4+ hours only to eventually return to their warehouse and find Lilly. Without apologizing she stated there was confusion and that the items would be delivered the following day. Some 20 hours later after numerous attempts to reach RC Eventz I was told that their truck broke down and that the delivery would happen in the early AM the next day… the same day as the event… the items never came!
Since then I have made an effort to get a refund — no response. Since then I have filed a claim with the BBB in which they refuse to respond to.
I seriously advise you to think twice, no think three times before trying to save a few extra dollars. The stress this woman and her company cause can never be erased.

I’ve worked with this vendor in the past a couple of times and they have always helped me wow my guest with the quality of their linens, chairs, tables and lounges. One of the things that I love about them is their options, they have a lot to choose from and their pricing is amazing. I used them for a Baby shower and a graduation party. The next event will be a baptism and I can not wait to meet with them to look at linens, tables and get some ideas going.

Very pleased with this company. Especially since they also delivery to AZ. I wasn’t sure if they would since they are coming from California but I have a lot of family out there that recommended them. They were professional and delivered what I needed. The cheapest price I could find compare to the ones here in AZ

Personally, I love them! I had the best party thanks to them! The set up was just done perfectly and the people were so kind and understanding. They left me 5 extra chairs free of charge which happen to come in handy! Everything was done so beautifully. Thank you!
