I’m giving them two stars because the man I spoke to was very polite and professional and at least he called to cancel. However after scheduling an estimate a week in advance he called two hours prior to cancel, after I had rearranged my day to be home for the estimate. They will not be earning my business.

Best painting company on the planet! Louis came over for the initial estimate and was professional, knowledgeable, soft spoken, and very polite. His estimate was fair and reasonable. He arrived on time to the exact minute. The job was planned out and the crew arrived on time and completed the project to absolute perfection. They left the house spotless, cleaning every last grain of dust. The colors were perfectly matched. I encourage all Unilocal users to choose Sal Miramontes and Sons, an honest, hard working, family business. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Thank you to these hard working brothers for making my house beautiful again.

Excellent company~very professional! I called the company and Louis promptly called me back to make an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on time, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for my kitchen, living room and dining rooms. Louis and his brothers did an excellent job! They moved furniture, prepped the walls, painted and cleaned up; when I returned home, my house looked amazing! I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again!

I had my 2200 square foot one story home exterior painted.
Price — 5 out of 5 stars. They were the second lowest quote I received and several thousand lower than the higher bid. I chose them because they do not use contractors, all work is done by the family of brothers and they stressed the preparation. Other bids either glossed over prep or were thousands higher.
Attention to Detail — 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, they were good and did everything we discussed. I knocked them a star because they used some of my stuff in the garage (i.e. hose reel, paper towels, etc.) I would not have a problem with this, but it was not discussed beforehand. Also, there were some minor disturbance to the landscaping around the house. If you’re a perfectionist, you’ll want to tightly supervise, but for me, all these things were within my expectations.
Follow Up — 5 out of 5 stars. I was not on site during the work so the walk through was important. We found a few places needing touch up and they came back the following week and took care of them all.
Communication/​Scheduling — 5 out of 5 stars. They were in constant contact via email and text, mostly responding to my inquires within 8 hours. They were also able to start about a week earlier than expected.
Quality — I can’t really speak to this as it’ll be a few years to know if all is good. On the surface, immediately after the job, all looks great. They also did a decent job repairing some of my siding that was falling apart a bit.

These guys did a great job on my house and the price could not be beat. I recommend using them.

Louis and his crew did a fantastic job painting my home. I highly recommend these guys. My home is a bit older and had some stucco that needed some patching before painting. They were able to address this with no problems at all. They were very professional, courteous and meticulous in their work. I am very satisfied with the work that they did. In addition to their great work, Louis gave me an excellent price. Look no further and call these guys!!!

These guys are GREAT! Professional, competent, knowledgeable, dependable… I was sold from the moment I met Louis Miramontes for the estimate. Louis and his brothers have extensive experience and they take pride in the quality of their product. I had several (exterior) house paint estimates before Miramontes & Sons was referred by friends. The SM&S estimate (free!) came in several thousand less than the next lowest bid… not exaggerating. And none of that «this offer is only good through the end of the month» BS… Louis came by, looked around the house (20 minutes or so), made a better than fair offer, and said to give him a call if we’d like to accept. We DID accept and were extremely satisfied with the quality and timeliness of their work. I am so glad we went with Louis and his brothers — I KNOW that we’ll be doing more business with them in the future.
