Tommy’s …, an oldie but a goodie! Sometimes we just have to have a chili burger and fries…, nothing else will suffice!

The food is okay but the workers are horrible, asked for an extra order of chile and the lady rolled her eyes, heard the kitchen say«ugh really». Def won’t be returning with their attitude!

I love the food but the staff here is the problem. Their communication skills are horrible. I think and hate to say this but they need someone with more fluent english skills at the drive thru speaker. Ive been coming here for years and it has always been a challenge with communication plus the non-customer friendly attitude.

I LOVE Tommy’s. I notice people here are giving them bad reviews, but that’s because of their service. Yes, there service can DEFINITELY be better, but the food is great! I absolutely love there chili! It’s there own recipe and it’s just SO good and filling. I LOVE there chili burger combo with there fries being chili fries instead of regular fries, and everytime I get it I can never finish it haha But I love them both so much I still get both haha. There service definitely needs to be better, but I don’t usually change my order with any special requests, so I’ve never personally had a huge issue with them and them messing up my order. I love any location I go to and they never disappoint me food and portion wise :)

This location is definitely generous with the chili! Anyone who is a fan of this restaurant, knows that the chili is what we all come for! Very clean and lots of seating! You think within walking in and seeing no customers, you’d be helped immediately. Sadly that wasn’t the case! Anyway, I was helped but the lady who helped me wasn’t very friendly and seemed like she had no patience. Food is great. Actually I would consider this location outstanding, but the lack of friendly customer service gives this place 3-stars!

Service here is ridiculous! They don’t know how to take orders through the drive thru.

First they forgot to give me my Coke. So I went back to get my Coke. Here I am about to take a bite of my burger(mind you I have already left) and there’s not only 2 pickles but 4 pickles. It says on my receipt«no pickles»!!!

Never a fail when I come get burgers and fries. I haven’t had it in at least 6 months. It’s a messy burger but tasty. Always get my peppers too. Will have to come soon again.

If you’re looking to bring a buzz down or just looking to indulge in chili then Tommy’s is the place. Can’t say that I’m the hugest fan but it does its job when it comes to easing a burger craving. The portion of chili that’s given on a burger and fries is pretty massive. Prepare yourself for one of the messiest eats you’ll have at a burger joint… and it’s that same messiness that keeps bringing me back every so often. Especially after a night out with friends and drinks. Tommy’s isn’t a must have but it never claims to be either. Therefore, Tommy’s is a cool spot to grab food from time to time. Preferably on a night I’m trying to bring down a buzz. The chili does wonders for that LOL. Dinner 11/17/2015

Bought burgers and fries for my whole family when we were moving houses. It was a struggle for me and the girl taking my order because she didn’t seem to speak English all that well. Uh… Is it really that hard to understand when I say no chili in all the burgers, but just give it to me on the side? Lol… Regardless, when I received my big order, the manager was very respectful and courteous to me. He wasn’t skimpy on the condiments and such either. But as soon as I got home and was about to dig into my burger, I noticed they didn’t put lettuce or tomato in any of the burgers… WTF!!! As disappointed as I was, I forced myself to eat it because all of us were starving. I didn’t have the patience to go back and complain about it either. The food tasted really mediocre and pretty bland. I got the chili on the side and ughhh. It tasted gross and the texture of it looks gross too. It looked like dog food, straight up. I’m glad the manager has good customer service, but I don’t think I would return in the future.

The food is delicious !!! Of course not healthy at all. But what is delicious and healthy ?! Nothing . The place is nice after the recent remodel, but before it was a dump. I still only do drive-thru because it’s not cute stuffing your face with Giant chili cheese fries, chili cheese burger and a Strawberry milkshake ! You a meat lover… This is the place!

This place isn’t worth the hype. Ordered thru drive-through came up to $ 19.80 — fries are $ 2.00, you get more at McDonald’s for that price. Burgers come w/HUGE thick slices of tomatoes — yuck if they aren’t your thing like mine. I’ll admit the chili is good however.

If I have to explain Tommys you are not a local. Anyhow this Tommys is not in a good area. But the food is as good as ever. If you’ve never had Tommys get in your car now and drive there. Order a double chili burger with chili cheese fries and a root beer. Boom!

This place had no ranch gave me thousand island in a tray burgers are sloppy almost choked on the tomatoes and pickles. Fries was on a tray and wrapped in yellow paper almost $ 2 for small fries not worth it. Pricing was too expensive for the food we got never coming here you again. I’d actually wouldn’t give it a star.

Rude employees tonight. 75% of them don’t speak English. I don’t care as long as my order is right, but don’t give me attitude when you can’t understand me. Food is good though lol. Up the customer service here!!!

You want it greasy and dirty and coming out your butt looking the way it went in? This is totally the place for you! Chili burgers, chili fries, chili tamales, and chili dogs. Junk food heart attack heaven. The chili honestly doesn’t taste like real chili but you can’t stop eating it, even though you know it’s probably really horrible for you! Late night watching Dexter our Walking Dead, this is the perfect midnight snack! Make sure to get some yellow peppers too, they compliment the food perfectly!

Still the greatest, greasiest, tasteful hamburger in SoCal. It is not something that you can do too often, unless you want to have a heart attack, but the combos are so good that are irresistible. Once in a while, the chili cheese burger with chili cheese fries are just from heaven.

I’ve been looking forward to trying Tommy’s for a while now. I’ve passed this place forever on the way home. I was craving a burger so, it’s time to try and see why it’s World Famous. I went through the drive thru and ordered my meal(maybe I should have gone in) I had some communication issues with the person taking my order. I had to repeat my order several times. I ordered the #2 which was suppose to be a cheese burger w/fries & drink. I asked to make it a chili cheese burger, no problem. She asked if I wanted mustard, tomato, pickles and onion. I said NO mustard. She asked if I wanted chili on the fries as well, I said yes. I pulled up to pay and got my drink. A Large drink. Some how I got up charge for that. No biggie, I was thirsty. I get home I look at my burger and it had mustard, a lot of it. She must have heard, «put a lot of mustard» when I said No mustard. I did not like the chili at all. It was bland and mushy. The texture of the chili was not very pleasant to me. I have to say it was very disappointing. Wendy’s chili is so much better than this mush I got. Hot sauce couldn’t even save it. With mustard on one side of the bun, I ended up discarding that side of the burger(which had the tomato & pickles) and just ate the burger patty, that was good. Chili Cheese Fries — since I’m not a fan of the chili, needless to say I didn’t like this either. I dug to the bottom to salvage some fries without the chili. Of course they were soggy. Meh! It might be World Famous, but not to me. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I recently came to this Tommy’s location with my mom and aunt to pick up dinner for our family. The service was quick, friendly and the restaurant was kept up well. The parking lot is small but ample enough for this location. The restaurant itself is in an alright area of Norwalk and easy to get to. We placed a large order featuring several special orders and when we received the food we were missing a hamburger. Always make sure you check your food to ensure you received everything, I have been bitten by this on far to many occasions to name. They clicked whipped up another burger and we were on our way. The food was good(as all Tommys are) but was not as hot as I had hoped once getting it home. The chili cheese fries are amazingly good and they are definitely not cheap with their chili as all of their food is drenched in it. This was a little greasier than other locations I have been to but overall they serve a good product. I still like Tommy’s chili much better than Pinks(although I will have to give this another try). It’s good to see another location I didn’t know existed until now. I am sure I will be back here again for many meals to come.
