This a small community park. It’s great for the locals to stop by and get some fresh air. Overall well maintained but like I said it’s a small park so don’t expect a whole lot. For one it doesn’t have private parking so neighborhood street parking is all you’ll get. It recently underwent some remodeling and it looks a lot better. It doesn’t help that’s its near a railroad track so you get a lot of trash buildup by the fence. Aside from that the park is deasant for the kids.

Hmm let’s see, this park has its good parts and its bad ones. The Basketball court is okay. In the evenings and at night there is a lot of gang action, I walk there every morning and unfortunately I have seen a couple of used condoms, beer bottles and cans, ciggarette boxes, used lighters, condom wrappers, u know the deal. The city of Norwalk really isn’t doing its part to help keep this particular park clean, and sadly, this is the closest park to my house. Its playground for kids is alright, and that area is very clean. I would like for this park to have a tennis court though!

I’m only reviewing this because my friend told me to do it. Vista Verde park… That little park around the corner from my house… Never really did much besides play basketball after school. So I’ll review based on that. The basketball court. One full court, with rims that are like triple rimmed, and a chain net. The triple rim does piss me off sometimes, and the lighting isn’t great. The only clear positive I can think of is that there are a couple of trees right next to it that provide an optimal shady/cool spot for when you’re going to pass out because you never exercise and you just played a game of basketball. That and there’s a 7⁄11 not too far away…
