Mike Kelly is a miracle worker. We are currently in training with our English Mastiff. He is the fifth dog that we have taken to Mike for training. We didn’t get the puppy until he was five months old and he was quite fearful and aggressive when he arrived. He was also extremely stubborn and completely uncooperative during his first lesson. I feared that because we didn’t start his training when he was younger that it would be next to impossible to get him to heel, stay, down, etc. By the end of our first lesson he was walking on a leash and heeling. I am amazed at the progress that he has made and there is no way that this would have been possible without Mike. He loves dogs and knows dogs as well as anyone could. Fortunately, we don’t live terribly far from Mike’s kennel but if we were 100 miles away, it would be worth the trip. I just can’t say enough good things about Mike and his method of training.

Five stars doesn’t even do Mike Kelly justice.
My husband and I have turned our German Shepherd into a very spoiled dog. And because he is a little baby genius, he knows how to play us. Mike trained us on how to train the dog and even after one lesson we saw results. We’re still only halfway through the entire plan but I couldn’t wait to praise Mike and his technique.
Super nice, friendly guy who absolutely loves dogs and wants nothing but the best for them and your family. Will recommend to anyone and everyone.

Anyway:
MIKE IS THE REAL DEAL!
he showed me and my wife the correct way to train our shepherd «Harper» after 8 1hr lessons I’m not only able to heel my dog properly on leash but also off leash
We did however get lazy after about a yr
(You NEED to be CONSISTENT) so I called
Mike and he got us in that same week and did a few refresher sessions and he only charged us half price. I would’ve gladly paid

He was so good, when we got harpers sister «Anya» 6 yrs later we went straight to mike again for a few more refresher sessions and she is not as good as Harper but I can honestly say I’d put her up against any dog in my town when it comes to obedience!
Lastly I’ll say this mikes method is simply this: the dog doesn’t/shouldn’t work for food (treats) the dog works for YOU!
He is not going to teach your dog how to
Give paw, roll over or any nonsense like that
You can do those things yourself
He teaches you how to train your dog to always be obedient to the owner things like heeling, placing, go to his bed, down the dog in mid run
I can throw a frisbee a 100 yards and when my dogs are only half way to it I can down then in mid gallop! I then free them until they get the toy (again at least 100 – 150 yards away and down both of them again and they will never break the down.
How many dogs do you know can do that?
That’s also what he does: saves dogs lives
You see your dog darting to a busy street chasing a cat???

A true pro and the real deal!

Mike Kelly is an unbelievable dog trainer! We started going to him in December/​January with our then 4 month old Black Lab. We had done some puppy training classes but weren’t getting anywhere fast.
Mike has made us all much happier! The dog is happier because she knows how to respond and we are happy because she responds!
I can’t say enough good things about Mike and how he has transformed our once crazy puppy into a very well behaved puppy.
