Sahagian Jewelers

Sahagian’s has an outstanding collection of beautiful jewelry and watches. In addition, they do repair and custom designs. I would trust them completely to redesign and modernize any of our family pieces.
The owner, Peggy, is wonderful! She would be appalled to know that someone had been treated poorly at her store, as someone mentioned in another review.

Beautiful store and helpful, friendly service! I came to buy a gift for my niece’s first communion and the lady who helped me was patient and offered great suggestions. I ended up with a Pandora bracelet and charms that were appropriate and lovely for the occasion. They even gift wrapped the gift to match the bracelet! My niece was thrilled.
I would make it a point to come if I had a special occasion gift to buy or wanted to splurge on myself.

Excellent selection of jewelry. From simple and elegant to contemporary to fun designs. Service was very good, friendly, and reassuring. There was no pressure to buy up at all. The mother and daughter owners were helpful in selecting my anniversary gift. Prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely come back in the future.

I really, really wanted to have a good experience here because my mom has bought a couple of very nice pieces of jewelry from them over the past several years. And yes, the store carries some very nice jewelry (which is why I gave it 2 stars). I have no idea what the prices are like because I haven’t bought an item there (and never will).
The attitude thrown at me from the moment I walked in was totally unacceptable in my opinion. If you don’t want people walking into your store, then be an «appointment only» operation. The woman who «helped» me acted like I was bothering her by asking to see a few wedding bands. She treated me like a kid who was just wasting her time. I was in there all of 5 minutes and it felt like an eternity.
Having visited several stores in the area before Sahagian’s, I had a very good idea of what I wanted in a wedding band and knew how to describe it. The woman who helped me could not have been more condescending, even though I was far from ignorant. She had no interest in helping me find the right ring. If someone comes into your store looking for a wedding band, you can be pretty sure they *need* to make the purchase fairly soon! Why throw away a customer with a bad attitude?
In addition, every other jewelry store I visited was able to give me a price range for what I wanted, but at Sahagian’s I was told this was an «unreasonable» request. Maybe Sahagian’s process is different, but no need don’t be so rude about it.
Unfortunately, I’m not buying anything here. I’m sure there are some nice people at this store, so hopefully you’ll have better luck than I did!

Beautiful selection of unusual jewelry pieces, custom designs, and authorized dealer for Breitling watches. Family-​owned and operated, has become one of our two jeweler’s of choice for special occasion gifts. Wish they carried David Yurman, but for that we go to Long’s. Unlike competitor down the street, Hingham Jewelers, Sahagian’s has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and excellent price/​value, as they’re not squandering advertising dollars on Red Sox baseball.
