Established in 2005.

Dr Modderno has been the only full-​time optometrist working at the Norwood For Eyes Optical since it opened in September 2005. Dr Modderno has built his practice on the fundamental principle that every patient deserves an exceptional exam experience. We take the time to understand each patient’s unique vision needs & tailor the exam to not just meet, but exceed their expectations. Business Owner

Originally from Staten Island, NY, Dr Modderno attended Union College in Upstate NY and graduated in 1999 with a double major Biology/​Psychology degree. From there, Dr Modderno completed his doctorate at the New England College of Optometry in 2003. Dr Modderno’s internships included rotations at Hanscom Airforce Base, Worcester VA outpatient facility and North End Health Center. Dr Modderno also spent over a year gaining experience in Pediatrics with the New England Eye Institute and Dr Daniel Laby, MD. Dr Modderno enjoys baseball (die-​hard Mets fan), music, movies and has 1 year old twins that keep him plenty busy on days off.
