Delicious baked goods, shared some of my leftover birthday cake with friends and they were shocked to learn it was gluten free! There are also occasional dairy free options on the shelves, and always available upon special request. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. A must-try for GF sweet tooth’s!

I ordered a half dozen gluten free cupcakes for my Mom’s birthday earlier this month. I was late placing my order(called the day before her birthday) but the owner was able to accommodate me. Gluten free baked goods are often dry but these cupcakes were delicious! Very moist… tasted just like non-gluten free cupcakes. I am new to the Norwood area and so happy that I found a place to buy baked goods for my mom!

Sweet Chances is a brand new bakery in the Rama Plaza on Washington Street in Norwood. When I read an article online about I HAD to make a stop in, as the area has very, very few options for gluten free desserts(the only other spot is on Route 109 in Medfield, which isn’t exactly, down the street from this somewhat busy section of Norwood). So, I made a stop by the good ‘ol Rama Plaza on Friday to check it out. First, to clarify about location. If you are familiar with Norwood you may have already realized this, as I first thought it wouldn’t work out at all„ but this place and the entire Rama Plaza is DIRECTLY across from legendary Guarino’s Bakery. I guess since this spot is gluten free and has a somewhat-different assortment of items, it would still work out as a fine location, but between all of the spots they could have chose to place another bakery, it really didn’t NEED to be right across from Guarino’s. Anyway, the owner, is very friendly, kind, and welcoming to new customers. The bakery had an interesting variety. Not nearly that of normal bakeries, including Guarino’s, yet I understand that you can’t really have all that much while promising customers no cross-contamination of gluten what-so-ever, so in that case the selection was perfect. Everything looked fresh, delicious, and tasted even better(basically everything gluten free tastes the same as it regularly would have, with gluten). Anyway, overall a nice, new, modern spot for pastries in the Norwood area. I will be returning. 4 stars. As stated above, it is located in the Rama Plaza on Washington Street. Easy access from Route 1A via Chapel Street or Walnut Ave, as well as Route 1 via Dean Street.
