History

Established in 1889.

During our 125 years in business, we have been chosen as «The Official Photographer» to five U.S. Presidents (Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson and Carter –Our work is showcased in their Presidential Libraries.)

In 1974, we built our own Photo Lab to insure the best quality & care for our clients. Our lab went completely digital in 2002. Being early adopters to digital we are positioned to continually offer our clients something fresh. In 2006, we began hand making our albums here to have complete control over the quality a& design process.

In 1997, Jay Perskie bought our building «The Wedding Center», where Perskie Photographics & Design & Francesca’s Bridals is located.

I came to the studio in 1969 to «Just to help out for a FEW WEEKS» at my parents request and have never looked back. I was working in the photo industry for a company in New York and as a wedding photographer on weekends. Well, I am here and my friend Val Krick, the most talented photographer I have ever worked with in my 45 years here, (and I have taught many photographers) is now our Creative Director. He brings great technical and creative talent to our studio. A VERY rare find indeed! Our small staff of knowledgeable, creative and nice people make it a pleasure to work here and serve our great clients.
