Established in 2007.

I use Paul Mitchell products in my studio and received my training at San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology (SFIEC), a Paul Mitchell Partner School.

I enjoy being inspired by new ideas from clients and work with the client to achieve their styling goals no matter how great or small the challenge. I believe that a «teamwork» relationship between the stylist and the client is essential in the process of creating the look they’ll wear.

I recently visited Laura at T Block and very much enjoyed the experience. I’m happy to have finally found someone to cut my hair after having moved up to Novato from SF about a year ago. Like the other reviewers note, she is a one-​chair salon so all attention goes to you — she interpreted easily what I wanted my hair to look like and filled in the areas where I wasn’t sure. I trusted that she would understand what I wanted and she delivered. All the while, she’s easygoing and fun to talk to. Her work is professional and she’s skilled at what she does and charges a very reasonable rate. Thanks, Laura, I’ll be back!

I love this hair salon, and I will never switch as long as I’m living in the area. Before coming to Laura at T Block, I had never gotten a haircut that I have liked, ever.
Every time I come to see Laura, I leave with a cut that looks amazing. She is very affordable, too, and gives a $ 15 discount to students!!! I recommend Laura to all my friends, and now my entire family (mom, dad, and sister) see Laura regularly.
You won’t regret getting your hair done by Laura at T Block!

I always enjoy my time at T Block Studio. Laura is pleasant and attentive. She makes the overall experience enjoyable and relaxing.
She listens to what you’d like done to your hair and treats the process like art. I’ve never left and wanted to cover up my hair. I leave and want to go out and show off my new-​do to the world!
I would recommend anyone and everyone to come here. She does men’s and women’s cuts and color, children’s cuts, facial waxing, anti aging facials (non surgical face lift), and acne facials.
Whatever you need, Laura will take care of you!

My family has been going to Laura for years. We all (parents, brother, sister, & myself) have different styles and she always delivers. Laura is very positive and present when she’s working on you. The intimacy of this one-​chair studio makes it comfortable for me to be a little fussy until we get it right and for my dad to ask for help with ear hair (sorry Dad!). A haircut or treatment at T-​Block Studio is re-​energizing both inside and out!

I have been going to Laura for a little over a year. She is amazing at interpreting exactly what I want, even when I’m not sure what that is. I had wanted to go short for years, but never felt comfortable enough with a stylist until Laura. She recently did my wedding hair and makeup and it came out perfectly! I felt so beautiful all day and even at the end of the night I looked great. Laura is an artist and you can tell she takes so mug pride in what she does. I HIGHLY recommend T Block studio to anyone looking for a professional hairdresser and a great cut.

AWESOME! Really. Simply. The. Best. Hair Designer I have ever had! Laura is an artiste. She also does many of my friends’ hair and they all look amazing. She has a gift for knowing just what color and cut is right for any given face, complexion and personality. I get complements at least three times a day on my hair! I always say, «Thanks! I know! My hair designer is an artiste. I just let her do what she wants cuz she knows my hair better than I do!» GO! Get gorgeous already!
