History

Established in 1987.

In 1987, several customers of Corrigan Moving Systems began looking for storage solutions for their hard copy records. Michael Corrigan knew he needed to expand his operation to handle more than just moving his customers. Corrigan Record Storage was started and racks were constructed to store these important documents in a safe, secure environment in our Farmington Hills location.

Soon after a need arose to protect tape media for computer backups. This required additional security and fire protection. To ensure the safety and longevity of these tapes, a Halon-​protected vault was built for temperature and humidity controlled storage.

By 1992 our Farmington Hills facility was in need of expansion, a 30,000 square foot addition was added. The business continued to grow reaching over 300,000 cartons and 100,000 tapes by 1997.
