I have tutored for Baker College for over a year and half, I have also provided private tutoring services for the past two years. I am a course developer and instructor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Online Learning Forum. I believe that tutoring services are a fundamental portion of the academic fabric which empowers students to excel in their studies. The finest practices of tutoring services are those that deliver the essential elements for the student and also produce a synergistic progression to the learning environment. I am very proactive when starting with a new student; my focus is on them, not myself. Secondly, I evaluate the student’s academic strengths and weaknesses, specifically in the class I am tutoring.
