Pretty Brows and Spa

I’ve been here three times for Brazilian waxing. I’ve never been anywhere else. It hurry for sure the first time But not as much the second and third times. She also threaded my eyebrows. They looked great and the wedding really does last a good two weeks before anything started to grow back.

The staff were extremely polite and efficient, but there was little to be said for ambiance: the floor and table were dirty! As for the wax, it was extremely hot and when I requested for her to lower the temp or wait she proceeded to blow on the wax! Also, she gave no warning about when she was ripping off the wax and told me to take a deep breath when I asked for her to wait a minute. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for any waxing down below, maybe brows are different! One can only hope!

I went to see Roopa for Brazilian and she did a great job! Very prompt and thorough! Would definitely recommend and will go back!

I bought a groupon for this salon, Rupa is very sweet and does a terrific Brazilian. Plus she had a great sense of humor, which you need when doing this work, right? I recommend seeing her for your waxing needs, I’ll be back and also get my brows threaded next time.

I love Rupa– in fact I love her so much I purchased groupons for friends. The first time she did my Brazilian she took her time and made sure it was perfect. It lasted over a month, which may be the norm for some but it’s phenomenal for me. She’s also done my brows, upper lip and chin, and just today, my armpits.
I try to recruit new waxers of the nether regions to go to her– she walks you thru it and she makes you laugh.

This was one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. I am in the middle of moving from FLA to MI. My email through the Extreme Lash website to Pretty Browz was never answered. I called and made an appoint @ 2:15p. I was called @ 1:58p only to be told they would HAVE to move my appt to 3:30p…I was already there, having driven 30 miles to get there! I was told the client before me was running late! Interesting, as I was sitting in front of the shop and saw the Client walk in just before 2p… When I asked about normal protocol for appointments I was told «there is nothing I can do!»…I have never heard of any saloon that does not have a policy regarding being late for an appointment!!! When I went in to use there restroom, the «Client» ahead of me was not even laying down or ready to go, and she was getting a full set… Hence, she never would have been done by 3:30p…The women at the counter was rude and when I asked why I wasn’t put in for my appt first (a fill) she refused to answer! So I was left with crazy looking lashes for my trip. BAD BUSINESS PROTOCOL. Guess I will continue my hunt for an Extreme Lash Specialist elsewhere in MI… This business is an embarrassment to Extreme Lash. #ExtremeLash

I’ve been getting my eye brows threaded for close to 10 years now. I love it because it lasts long, is quick, and doesn’t irritate my skin. This place is great for threading. I’m usually in and out, unless there is someone ahead of me, and even then, the wait is no more than five minutes. Additionally, you can get a frequency card that allows you to get a free session after so many visits. Threading is only about $ 10 and last for 4 – 6 weeks depending on your hair growth. This place is right across the street from Twelve Oaks so it’s very easy to get to.

Worst wax experience ever. EVER! And I’ve been taking care of business below the belt, on a regular basis for 10+ years. My girl was out of town so I was in a pinch and saw this place had a Groupon. Well… let’s just say you get what you pay for. My vajajay is bruised (sorry if this is TMI!!) and I nearly ran out of the room in tears due to the wax they used. Not only did they use a cheap, plastic «hard wax» as the gal explained it, it was too hot, and I had to have her stop using it halfway through the procedure because it was just so painful! They call this a spa… what a joke! Rooms are dirty, nothing relaxing or enjoyable about it. Beware!

I would absolutely not recommend getting waxed there!
