Sundance Grill & Cantina

The CocaCola tasted weird. And the burger also tasted weird. The servers were more interested in watching the footbak game than being servers. I won’t be coming back here

Food was good, I had enchiladas — they were average. The girlfriend had a burger, which was good, but the fries were really good. Wait staff was really nice. Even though it says Mexican food and they serve you tortilla chips at first it is a bar. Above average dive bar feel. I will go back — excite about taco Tuesday’s.

I had been shying away from stopping here because there are usually very few cars in the parking lot. It was an overcast day last week and I stopped in for a burger. Not many people out on the lake due to the fact it looked like rain was on the way. I entered and there were 4 other people sitting at the bar. Nobody at any of the tables or booths. The bartender told me to sit anywhere at the bar I wanted. I pulled up a stool and asked for a menu. I decided on the cheeseburger, I think it was a double. I had fries and a coke. They had a special «sundance» sauce you could get at additional charge so I opted for that as well. It took awhile to be dome but it was actually a damn good burger and I did really enjoy the sauce. It seemed a bit expensive too. I saw some other reviews after dining there and looked like they had some specials. I noticed the Mexican entrée’s on the menu and then noticed the words «Cantina» on the sign as I left. I will come back again and try some of their Southwest fair.

I’m only giving this two stars because I gave Olé Olé one star and Sundance is slightly better. But I’d choose Taco Bell over this place. Good guacamole but quality of food is still sub par.

½ pound burger WITH fries for $ 4 on Wednesdays. And everyone at our table had no complaints. In fact, they were really good. They also have taco Tuesdays. $ 1 tacos. We’ve come here on a Tuesday and got the tacos. They were ok. A little greasy, but hey they are $ 1 so I can’t complain.
