The Creativity Caravan is a mobile creativity company based in Nutley, New Jersey. We offer one-​of-​a-​kind, collaborative environments for learning and celebration. The heart of our business is our vintage caravan, nicknamed Maude, which brings our love of travel, adventure, and building community under one colorful roof. We also have a beautiful, spacious studio in Nutley where we hold classes, workshops for children and adults. We’ve created programs for all ages that inspire and deepen connection, and our «à la carte» format lets you design an event that is just right for you!

History

Established in 2013.

Artists and writers Amy Tingle and Maya Stein launched Food for the Soul Train in 2013.

What we love about working together is seeing all of the places our skills and experience combine to inform our business. We also equally value vulnerability because we know creativity demands this in order to grow. Weve embarked on the journey of this collaboration recognizing that we must remain flexible, open, curious, adventurous, and willing when it comes to developing our work together. Along the way, were discovering that our commonalities (our love of orange, for example) as well as our differences (Mayas an introvert and Amys… well…not) are what will keep our business vibrant, productive, and inspiring. At the heart of it all is our belief that good communication, honesty, and transparency are the key ingredients to success… in business and in life!
