A Dash of Color

After seeing stellar reviews for Chad and his business online I figured I’d give him a call, and from the first moment we spoke on the phone through the end of the job, he was friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to work with.
He was asked to paint my bathroom, which seemed like a quick and easy job, but as with many projects in a just-​bought house, you quickly find out there are hidden monsters. Chad and John worked like beavers, very diligent and leaving our bathroom looking beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. I can’t recommend him highly enough, and his fees for his work are more than fair. I will be calling him again for our next project for sure.

Chad was recommended by a friend of mine and boy am I glad we hired him. He painted our downstairs kitchen and living room in two days. He did an excellent job. Very clean and precise. We would hire him again in a second.

There is not enough paper and pen to go on how fantastic this company is, but I will try and keep it brief and to the point. I had someone come in to my home to do painting and carpentry work. It was a family friend who I was highly recommend to. It turned into a nightmare and with thousands of dollars that were not retrievable I was left with my home in worse condition prior to the start of the job. I looked for painters in the area with little luck. One came to my home, left due to an emergency call, never to hear back. Others were out of line with their quotes. I found A Dash of Color on Unilocal and although I never heard of them, as you are now reading reviews, they were positive so I gave Chad a call. WOW!!! Respectful, timely, considerate, an all-​around pleasure to work with.
I was jaded from my horrible experience just weeks prior so I was nervous about allowing anyone in my home. Working with Chad and his assistant John was one of the best experiences I have ever encountered when it had come to home repairs. Their work was clean, leaving my home every night neat and orderly. Chad was in contact with me every morning letting me know his approximate time of arrival — which was always by 9:00am at the latest.
Both Chad and John’s work was fantastic. From painting to carpentry work, I could not have asked for better. On their last day, they noticed a 1 minute fix, however they were packed up for the night. As promised the very next day they were at my door to apply one brush of paint to one spot (something in all honesty I could have done). This is after they had full payment.
Chad is very knowledgeable about homes, and offered me very good advice about items in my home that I should address prior to selling.
I have since left A Dash of Color business cards in my nearby hardware store and assured Chad that I would be glad to be a recommendation. Please look no further, if you need a great service to make your home new, you must meet with this group before signing the dotted line with anyone else. Chad was a pleasure to work with! He was efficient, helpful, and reliable. I hired him to paint a few rooms in my home and the rooms looked great. He also checked in afterwards to make sure we were satisfied. He worked with us to make sure the price was right. I would definitely hire him again for other home projects.

Me and my husband found Chad to be a extremely talented professional. Chad did a fantastic job with color matching and painting. I was a little worried about calling is someone I didn’t know, but chad proved I was just foolish. So very glad I made the call to dash of color and chad. He showed what a true professional is from beginning to end. His prices were completely reasonable and what quality he delivered. he even called to follow up after that work was done… which made me say «wow».just very impressive from a customer service stand point. I have known Chadwick Sayers for over 7 years now as first through my family and now at a personal level. In that time he has made numerous recommendations on home improvement for my brownstone walk up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and has implemented all of them to the highest degree of skill. This included the basics such as painting the entire apartment from the ceiling on downwards. This task had taken my friends and I several days but took Chad almost exclusively working alone a period of just over a day. Other suggestions were far more custom to the apartment and are listed below:
(1) Building custom wood shelving to replace the bulky home entertainment center, which helped open up the room considerably
(2) Utilizing the loft space in the bedroom by creating a wood furniture storage system and building an easy to move ladder to quickly access clothing stored there
(3) More efficiently organizing space under the loft stairs by building a wine cooler and recyclables bin, items that were previously stored in the open. This also resulted in a cleaner look for the apartment.
Some of the work mentioned were things I was reluctant about having done, but in addition to being an exceptional workman Chad has a distinct eye for creativity and spacing, an ability honed from many hours of research into contemporary interior design. In all cases, after the work had been implemented I was delighted with it and it had indeed improved the apartment.
I can think of no better person to implement any interior or exterior design work on your home or apartment than Chadwick Sayers.
