Do not come here with a groupon! I bought a large area for laser hair removal through groupon which was a great deal, until I got there. What they don’t mention on the groupon is that you are only getting the laser that is 40% effective when you buy it through the groupon service as opposed to the regular laser they use which is 90% effective. But not to worry, you can get the better laser by paying an additional $ 1,000+ dollars on top of what you already payed for the groupon. None of this was mentioned when I got my groupon, and needless to say I got my money back and will not return.

I bought a groupon deal to Lavur La Vie, when i called to book my appt the girl who took my call was pleasant when she answered, however as soon as I mentioned that I had a groupon she took a deep breathe then became VERY rude as if I was wasting her time and she seemed extremely annoyed. I decided after my call to attempt to get my money back from groupon and have decided i’m not going to my appt. even more so after reading the reviews below. Not such a nice experience to have in making an appt. I could only imagine how it would be the day of my appt, they would probably rush me out since I would have been using a groupon. Thanks but no thanks, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I purchased a groupon for 3 sessions of microderm. I have done microderm before, but was looking for a new place more local to me. I had a great experience here! My aesthetician was professional, knowledgable, and friendly! The aesthetician gave me a game plan of how we can correct my skin issues and even looked at my current face wash and explained the ingredients and why they could be causing my skin issues. I left there with my skin looking amazing and looking forward to coming back.

Bought the Groupon for laser hair removal. I learned that there are two kinds of laser hair removal and this is the type the just thins the hair. After your first 1 or two treatments it seems like it’s working, but your hair is only thinning out. Go somewhere else and do more research on the type of laser being used. Would not recommend for laser hair removal.

I got a groupon for tattoo removal. However, I was ready to pay the entire extra treatment that would be even more extensive than the three session s the coupon would cover. However, I was told the coupon cannot cover the three sessions due to time limits. Fine. Once, I scheduled the second session they called me to cancel the appt. because, apparently, they didn’t have availability on Saturdays. Overall, extremely rude service by very pretension oldish ladies with housewife job. Sorry, I’m a working dental anesthesiologist who cannot come at 3pm on Tuesday!

This isn’t the DMV this is a spa so why do they make their clients wait around for an hour or more to get treated? I finally decided to leave after the woman before me left who had been waiting far longer than I. She was understandably a bit angry with the woman behind the counter but the weird thing was that the woman behind the counter started giving her attitude and was incredibly mean to the customer!
I never actually got to experience their services but judging from the other reviews left I wasn’t missing much. This was a stressful experience, which is the opposite of what a spa should be so how on earth do they keep their doors open?

Tattoo removal. Groupon. Quite, clean, classy. No upsell.
The location has free side and back parking. Very relaxing music. Free green ice tea and banana chips.
I have been elsewhere for same and had too pay double. Then I was badgered to buy their product which I refused.
Not here, nice, simple And efficient. Super clean and classy.

Thought I was getting a good deal through Groupon for tattoo removal. This place was a complete nightmare. I bought 6 sessions (they GUARANTEED my tattoo would be gone with this) and it wasn’t in the slightest at the end of the 6 treatments. To add insult to injury, they «forgot to mention» I needed to purchase an aftercare kit at $ 100 extra at EACH VISIT. Actually, I wrote down all the products in this kit and asked my dermatologist if any of it was necessary. My doctor said NONE of it was necessary and it was a complete scam. On top of all that, the people that work there are the rudest employees I’ve ever seen. They act like your annoying them unless your shelling out hundreds of dollars. I learned be hard way through lazur la vie to do never do business with a company like this. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I had written about this place before. They sold me 24 k gold facial. I got very much irritated when I got home, I could not get a hold off any one until I talked to Nicole. She absolutely has no customer service background and instead offering for me to come back to examine my skin, she tried to sell me more packages. All blackheads were left on my face. They are scam, do not waist your money. I wish I could give them minus stars

The customer service is absolutely terrible here and everyone working has an awful attitude. They made us wait over an hour for an appointment and gave us ‘tude when we went to the front counter. ¹⁄₅ wouldn’t come back EVER

Nicole is amazing. The owner, Alex, is another story. I had appointment times and days changed on me without asking if I was available during the new time/​day. The only way I actually found out about the change was through their crazy text messaging system they use. I called to complain and never received any return phone calls. I received a series of laser treatments and was extremely happy with Nicole although I do not get the impression she is as valued as much as she should be as an employee. I chose to pay for my treatments monthly, having the same amount charged to my cc for 6 months. I noticed the third month I was charged about $ 20 more than I should have been and I literally had to spend a WEEK trying to track down the owner (Alex) to discuss the situation. Don’t get me wrong, the laser treatments were great, but that was because of Nicole. This business is not run in a very professional or business like way and it shows through the employees and the owner herself.

At first, I was very excited about this place. Close to home, clean, comfy, and the possibility of having to never shave again was like a miracle to me.
I signed up for 6 sessions, as they requested, to remove all my bikini hair. I went in every time, did exactly what they said, and now only 4 months later, it has all grown back. I kid you not.
Almost $ 1000 and many trips and all the hair grew back.
I also kind of felt like I was bothering them every time I went in. Very high school popular girl lunch table feeling.
I suggest finding somewhere else.

I bought a microdermabrasion special they had going on about a year ago; and been hooked ever since. Alex the spa director will go above and beyond to fulfill your needs and request. Nicole is my go to facialist. She is super thorough and rough; just the way I like it. They are always in search of the most modern technology. And have great specials.
Will not go anywhere else for my spa needs.

I also bought a groupon, thinking it was a great deal. I always arrived on time or early but had to wait 30 – 45 minutes each time for the 2-​minute underarm laser experience. I tipped ($ 10 for 2 minutes) and was always treated in a quick rushed abrupt manner. On my 4^th treatment, after waiting for almost an hour, I was told my technician (Nicole) was not coming in and I got another tech but had to wait for her to finish with her client who arrived ½ hr after me. New tech was very nice, asked about my treatment and when I told her the hair was still growing back (9 treatments later, previously had had 5 elsewhere) she decided to use a different laser on me explaining that maybe the other laser didn’t work well for my skin/​hair. The next visit (which was my last) we did the same old treatment that hadn’t been working for me and when I asked why we weren’t using the stronger laser she said «Someone else is using it» Then, since my groupon was used up I was offered to buy more treatments for $ 300. I will not be going back here and feel I wasted both my $ and my time.

I love Lazur La Vie! I’ve gone for several tattoo removal treatments and have seen excellent results. Having gone to other clinics in the past, this will be my forever destination.
Nicole and the owners are great and the overall establishment is clean and stylish. I can’t wait to start my laser hair removal in a week. I expect it to be just as pleasing result wise as the tattoo removal is. Will report back.

Went for the first of three laser tattoo removals (Groupon deal). It was very easy to get to and from off 287 (being a Jersey girl I was worried about the location), the DRIVEWAY is somewhat narrow but you can park behind the building where there is an additional exit (right, right, left & your back to Main St when you’re done). It’s very nice inside, very clean and I was offered snacks & a drink while I waited. Nicole was great, very nice, funny and explained everything.
The removal itself was not painless but I felt it was about as painful as getting the tattoo in the first place. It’s almost identical to when the tattoo artist drags the needle. The removal only took about 5 – 10 minutes.
I declined the after care kit BUT I immediately went to the store and bought the recommended products– all of them. I didn’t feel pressure to purchase their products but I did accept that I must follow their advice or risk infection.

I am really happy with my first laser tattoo removal session. I am impressed with the results so far! very painful but very quick! Nicole was great. Only thing I am upset about is the rip off after care kit. $ 100 for what i could have gotten at the drug store for $ 20. I wish I would have asked what was in it. for anyone wondering — ALL IT IS: regular liquid soap, generic 45 sun screen, generic skin lotion, and generic neosporin. I know, right? ugh. DO NOT BUY.

I recently purchased a groupon (my last one ever) for this place and made an appointment with the manager named Katie. They don’t have appointments for weeks. So we schedule something 2 weeks later. I get a call day before my appointment from the same manager saying i had to reschedule my appointment because they where all booked. at this time i have made arrangements with work to take some time off specifically for this appointment as well as to allow recovery time for the pixel laser treatment. I nicely explained to her that i have taken week off work and needed to get in on scheduled day anytime… she insisted she has nothing available for a month. Who does that ?! who gives you appointment date, time and tells you day before they have nothing available!!! Well people who are desperate to be sold on groupon and most importantly people who do not care about their customers.
She offers me next day appointment after talking with her for an hour (wasting my time) Than she calls my sister who had the appointment as well, tells her that they had another groupon promotion and she could not be seen at her scheduled time, that she had to be rescheduled month later. My sister tells her the same thing that I told her, she has also taken time off work. SO KATIE decides to cancel my appointment without telling me and schedules my sister, she than calls me and tells me that my sisters job is more important than mine and therefor she had to reschedule me one month later. KATIE AS I TOLD YOU you are not to decide whose job is more important you need to mind the business you are in and question you competency and qualifications for this job, obviously you are a bad planer and have no tact, diplomacy, customer service or communication skills necessary to do your job. I told Katie I would be leaving a review on Unilocal and here I am and as soon as i mentions the review she had another appointment available next day. So my sister was going one day before me, although we planned to do this together for months, after all I was scared to go there and have them do who knows what.
Now about the Spa, nice décor, staff was friendly. Nicole was able to get me in after my sister which was very nice of her. Nicole knew what she was doing. Pixel laser was fine, although i am still recovering i like the results already. However they sold us product to use baby face lotion, hydro pore (basically aquaphore) and face wash all the products had no ingredients listed on them, they look like they are pored from large bottle in to blue plastic bottles and priced at $ 140. After getting home my sister gave me the products and they had no ingredients listed on them i called the place to tell them that i would like to return everything since they had not label identifying what the creams were made of. She told me labels probably fell off… really on 6 items??? or did you just pore cheep lotion from walmart in it and think you can fool someone? Also I told her that baby face smelled like a fragrance lotion to which i am allergic i would like to know what it was. she said she would call me back and tell me the ingredients well I am still waiting week later, obviously they dotn care about their customers and try to scam toooo bad for them… no point in having groupon promos if you can not deliver the service, quality of products and most importantly on your promise… well last of Lazur la vie for me and mys sister… there are tooo many great spas where you can relax instead of be bombarded with their groupon

Lazur la Vie was too close to home not to take advantage of their Groupon deal, so I bought laser treatments. In short, I have to say that the treatments did work for me and have made my life easier than waxing. But here are the details of my experience…
Pros: The aesthetics of LLV are there. Waiting room is nice and relaxing, always very empty when I went there on weekends, and they have some interesting products for sale up front (boutique-​style).
Pro/​Con: The girl who started with my treatments was awesome, but one day I was told that she wouldn’t be there because she had an injury, then later they told me that she had left the state.
After showing up early to every other one of my appointments and tipping well, I missed ONE appointment, so they were going to revoke the service and not reschedule me. I felt like they were personally attacking me and was very upset about their policy. This was a huge disappointment since laser treatments have to be done in accordance with the hair growth cycle. Fortunately, by some miracle the owner did acknowledge my e-​mail plea and they let me reschedule.
Cons: Parking is a bear — the lot is super narrow, and it’s right off of Main Street, so expect to wait a long time to pull back out. Staff are some of the nastiest, most unreasonable, and dishonest people I’ve ever come across. I never felt like a valued customer, or like they wanted to pamper me. They said they were going to give me a «deal» for some additional treatments, but then after Hurricane Sandy never called back to reschedule me. When I called, they got angry with me for calling, apparently, and said my treatments had expired anyway. I wrote another e-​mail and was never acknowledged. After all is said and done, I never got to finish up my treatment schedule!
As for the dishonesty, they told me that scarring was virtually impossible because of how pale I am, so I signed the waiver. Unfortunately, I am proof that you absolutely can develop discoloration no matter how pale you are. Also, DON’T believe the «Pain-​Free» bull that they try to sell you on! I am a long-​time waxer, and these treatments were way more painful for me than waxing. I started to take Ibuprofen before each appointment to cut down on the pain.
Bottom Line: You get what you pay for, if what you pay is 50% off. Whatever you do, don’t miss your appointment under pain of death. I do not recommend this place to friends, or to anyone who wants a friendly, respectful, pampering experience. There are plenty of better places in the area.
