Culver

I hired this plumber to get roots out of a pipe in my front yard — I have to do this 1 – 2 times a year because of clay pipes and trees in my yard. (side info — he hit my neighbor’s mailbox with his truck when he got there)
He said he couldn’t get the snake to go through and that the pipe was collapsed — charged 150 $. My city has an insurance program so I called them to come out (300 $ fee — refunded if collapsed but if just root blocked then the plumber the city contracts keeps part of the fee).
The second plumber came back and had no trouble getting the roots out. That plumber said the first guy should not have had any trouble so I called Culver to complain. He told me the second plumber must have had different equipment but that thier equipment was better for some jobs (like a roof job??).
It obviously was not the best equipment FOR MY JOB since the second guy had no trouble! So my advice is to avoid these guys.
