My car started leaking anti-​freeze and over-​heated while passing through on my way back to Arizona. I managed to limp into their shop and was convinced the water pump that I had just replaced had gone bad or wasn’t installed correctly. They quickly figured out the water pump was fine and simply needed to tighten my radiator hoses. However, my van continued to overheat.
God bless these guys for doing their best to get it fixed. Brian, the tech, worked all day in the hot St. Louis sun trying different fixes. At closing time the issue was not fully resolved and Austin, the service manager, offered to get me a room at no charge and said they would keep working on it until it was fixed right the next day. I needed to get to Kansas City and my van was fixed enough where I could take it on the hwy without overheating so moved on.
I commend these guys on their perseverance, customer service and honesty. I wasn’t charged for repairs that didn’t fix the problem and based on their integrity and my experience at this shop I wouldn’t hesitate to use Firestone again for future repairs.
