O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar

I love the Philly sandwich. I can’t stand the staff. We typically go around lunch during the week when the place is empty and are usually sat right next to the hostess station and bar. The hostess, bartender, and other employees gather in that area and talk amongst themselves very loudly and interrupt the meal just about every time we come. The bartender yelled really loud one time, «(name) doesn’t work here anymore!!!» Ok could you please stop yelling so I can eat my meal? Our waitress typically has a hard time getting our check, we usually have to ask for it. One time we put the money in the thing and she just walked right past it. We were the only customers in the place. we waited and waited and finally asked the bartender for change so we could leave the right amount and go because our waitress obviously wasn’t coming back. Don’t expect refills or general common courtesy. I only go back sometimes because I love that Philly steak sandwich. They’ve since taken my favorite sandwich off of the menu, so I no longer go to O’Charley’s.

I usually order take out and get the cedar plank salmon and steak, which is great a lot of the time. But this time I decided to dine in. Everything was decent — except for the prime rib I ordered. I ordered it medium rare, and when it came out, it was a little cooler than room temperature. I asked them to hear it up and when it came out again it was well done, and it was not that much warmer than it was before. I ended up eating it anyways. I was paying for the bill, and I overheard the table behind us talking about how both of them also got medium rare on the prime rib, and they had theirs sent back as well. If you come here, I would order something other than the prime rib. Cedar plank salmon is by far the best salmon I’ve had around.

Decent food for a chain. Good service at moderate prices. It was so dead that there wasn’t much of a atmosphere.

Nothing was terrible but nothing was that amazing either.
The only truly positive, amazing things I can say is that the atmosphere was pretty and the service was good. If you’re looking for good food then go somewhere else. The house salad was bland, without cheese (???), and the ranch dressing was too watery and didn’t taste like much. I was unimpressed with my Cajun chicken pasta the most since it had no taste whatsoever.
I won’t come here again (sorry O’Charley’s) but I tipped the waitress well since she didn’t deserve a bad tip because of food she didn’t cook.

Terrible service. Waited 20 minutes from ordering a soda to actually having it on the table. She was rude and not once checked back with us. Additionally, the manager checked on every table near us, except for ours?
Either way, not a good experience. Food was «ok». Lettuce in salad was starting to turn. Found a hair on one of my chicken tenders.
I won’t be back. Disgusting.

Loved the new Southwest Chicken Wedge Salad! Husband had Cajun Shrimp Pasta and it was also great Sam W. was a fantastic server and paid attention to our every detail. They have huge servings and a great value for the money. We’ll be back

Love this place, great queso dip with chips. Sad they are out if Mich Ultra so early!

My wife and I decided to eat here because we’ve enjoyed the food every time we’ve come. This particular occasion was beyond excellent. I ordered the Louisiana sirloin which was cooked medium rare. The steak was very tender and flavorful. On the side I had cheese broccoli casserole and fresh grilled asparagus both were very good. I washed it all down with a Sierra Nevada pale ale. All in all I had a great experience.

Good service, nice atmosphere on a Thursday wasn’t packed at all. It’s been a few years since I’ve eaten at OChars.
I got the pretzel burger, which has a piece of ham on top with cheese, onion, lettuce, pickle, tomato and a good burger patty of course.
Got Sweet potato fries since they had em and was worth the extra buck, nothing better than some good warm sweet potato fries. The meal filled me up! Adding a salad to start with then got a piece of pie to take home after I added the salad the nice waiter offered that for a dollar more, I was stuffed but melissa and I decided to get it for later.
Melissa got fried cod & fries, 3 big olé pieces of the crunchy fish looked pretty good from my eyes. She said it tasted good and satisfied her.

Great experience! Good food, nice atmosphere and food was fresh and hot. I tried the fish and chips (only 9 bucks) the fish was cooked to perfection! The naked potato was great and nice and soft. The bread they serve you is my favorite. Nice, hot, soft and makes you want more. Our server Kayla was excellent!
FYI — Monday and Tuesday kids under 10 eat FREE

Well, my wife and I were driving down the road and looking for someplace different. We hadn’t eaten at an O’Charley’s in years so we decided to give it a shot.
It was a Sunday afternoon and there was a bit of a wait. When we were seated, at a high top in the bar, we noticed that there were quite a few seats available. Kind of wondered why they made us wait since there was a ton of staff sitting around rolling silverware, etc.
I wanted some comfort food so I ordered the catfish. It wasn’t good, not really even close. My wife had a pasta dish with shrimp and she said it was pretty good.
When the server came back she asked me how my catfish was. She asked, so I told her. It wasn’t very good. She offered to have the kitchen replace the order. I declined and told her that it was probably going to be just like this. She was really fantastic and her service was outstanding. I told her I just ordered something I shouldn’t have ordered where I was eating. No big deal. However, maybe a restaurant should make sure they can prepare a dish prior to putting it on the menu. Just my opinion.
Once again, my wife thought her food was great, the service was outstanding, my food wasn’t good. Oh well. The catfish was a one star kind of meal. The service brings it up to 3.

Came here with my sister, I got the fried pickles for an appetizer. Even though they were really good, it was salty, but I would order them again. I also got the famous chicken tenders with twisted chips. It was delicious and it reminded me of southern comfort food. My sister got the panko-​crusted shrimp and hand battered cod and a mango tea, which she loved. They also served buttered rolls in the beginning which were soooo good and tasted fresh!
Megan B. was our waitress and she was nice and kept our cups filled:) I would definitely come back.

Food was good. Not great just good. Service was good as well. I recommend signing up for their emails. They email out coupons from time to time

Really good service for a chain restaurant. Friendly servers that kept bringing out those delicious rolls by the basket. They handled a 20-​person office lunch outing with ease. It was nice they served the food all-​at-​once and my meal didn’t come out cold. I didn’t hear anyone in the party complain that their’s was either.
The Atlantic salmon with chipotle-​bbq was pretty dang good. It was definitely the cause of my afternoon food coma. I’ll probably be frequenting this place again since its close to work and haven’t been disappointed yet.
Did I mention the rolls? Mmmm… rolls.

Nothing special here, service was friendly and a little better than average. The sandwich was good but nothing out of this world. Just another day at a typical chain restaurant. ;)
