Wrightway Auto Repair

This guy is beyond awesome!!! I had taken my car to Firestone on Scott AFB because of a radiator problem. They charged me $ 100 to run a pressure test and another $ 100 to fix a temperature gauge and it still did not fix the actual problem (my radiator reservoir was staying full despite my radiator leaking out fluid). Then they wanted $ 800 to fix the leak. I finally found Wrightway Auto Repair and he fixed the leak for $ 400 and was able to identify and fix the original problem with the radiator for $ 15 (apparently the radiator cap had gone bad). He also test drove my car as a favor and let me know what to do about a couple other problems I was having. I will not take my Blazer, or any other car for that matter, to anyone else while I am stationed at Scott! Great price, extremely knowledgeable, and quick service!

Contrary to google, Wrightway is very much open. A bit off the beaten track but an excellent, honest auto repair shop. I received an initial estimate from Firestone Complete Auto Care on Scott AFB and was blown away by how much they tried to up-​sell me on repairs. Wayne gave it to me straight and repaired what NEEDED to be repaired. And for a very fair price. I highly recommend his services, especially for GM models … can’t say as much for Firestone.
