History

Established in 2000.

Prospect Equities® was founded by American entrepreneur Richard M. Killian with the vision of creating a vertically integrated client-​solution for real estate brokerage.

The first unique client-​program started by PE was our popular Military Veteran Representation vertical which set the stage for many more client-​specific programs offered by our brand.

In 2002, PE opened its first branch office in the village of Orland Park, IL and by 2006, moved its corporate operations to the more central Chicago suburb of Oak Brook, IL. By 2010, PE had multiple Chicagoland locations and several hundred real estate agents employed by the company which also began to franchise its brand. In 2014, the company had moved its headquarters to downtown Chicago and has grown to several major metropolitan cities across the US.

Meet the Business Owner

Rich K.

Business Owner

Rich serves as CEO for Prospect Equities® and oversees the company’s development involving its franchise and brokerage operations. Mr. Killian is focused on the expansion of Prospect Equities® as an international brand name and franchise system.

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, is a decorated United States military veteran and a Harvard University alumnus.

As an active managing broker, he has managed over 12,000 closed transactions throughout his career and prides himself in always being available to speak with agents and customers.

Rich is a well-​known philanthropist and is greatly involved in helping veterans as well as personally funding educational programs and institutions.
