Their service man Ed David is not even legally licensed. My neighbor said stop using them because they need to have a license. Ed always came to my house and I trusted him. Thanks Oak Creek Plumbing for lying to me.

Need a plumber? Oak Creek Plumbing is our go-​to plumber. They’re awesome! We recently had a toilet replaced and we went with a cheap plumber. I replaced a toilet once. If I can replace a toilet, any professional plumber — no matter the cost — should be able to do it correctly. Right? Wrong. Mike M of Oak Creek Plumbing came out yesterday and determined that the cheap plumber didn’t install it correctly. He was surprised that we didn’t experience leaks sooner than this weekend. During this appointment, we also replaced our water heater. Completed both tasks in one appointment. Very efficient. Very clean. Very professional. Oak Creek Plumbing is not the cheapest, but we have always had a positive experience with them.

I called this place on a Friday morning recently for a clogged kitchen sink drain. They wanted to charge me an «Emergency Service Trip Charge» of $ 139 to come out late that afternoon. NONE of the $ 139 trip charge would be applied to work actually done, it was just for the plumber to show up and give me an estimate. Are you kidding me? In Las Vegas, I’ve heard that the «trip charge» for a hooker is only $ 99, and I’ll bet the Vegas hooker is a lot nicer to look at than the plumber from Oak Creek plumbing.
I told them no-​thanks and went to my local hardware store. I purchased a power auger for my drain which attaches to my drill ($ 14) and a sink plunger ($ 2.99). After a little bit of work, the auger cleared the clog.
Thanks for nothing Oak Creek Plumbing — I’ll be sure to erase your phone number from our directory and call a company that actually wants my business in the future.

We needed emergency plumbing help and were not sure who to call. I checked online and noticed Oak Creek Plumbing’s name mentioned for the Racine/​Kenosha, WI area. I remember hearing the company recommended on the Saturday morning Fix– It program on AM 620. So we called and within an hour and a half Mike M. arrived and got right to work on a very complicated clogged pipe. We appreciated his knowledge, neatness and diligence. Thank you Mike M. and Oak Creek Plumbing!

I would steer clear of this company. They came out to fix a sump pump recently. It turns out that we needed a new unit. They installed a new, albeit discontinued, model that retails for $ 120. I am being generous in saying that the plumber did 30 minutes of work, yet he was at my house for almost 2 hours. The final bill was over $ 500. I felt doubly conned because I got sucked into listening to this guys life story. I thought about calling the owner and/​or the BBB, but honestly the whole situation creeped me out and I just want to put it behind me. At the same time, I feel like I should warn other homeowners and businesses.

Oak Creek Plumbing went above and beyond for our repair. We had sewer backups which started right after we bought the house. Oak Creek was one of three quotes we got and they provided the best service and value for the price. They dug out our concrete floor to replace the lateral pipe that goes to the main sewer, put in a sump pump and replaced all of our old plumbing from the kitchen sink, the bathroom and laundry tub. They did a lot of other little things that really helped us out and cleaned up our basement. Mike M. was our service professional and he was definitely professional. He worked hard and efficiently. He was easy to work with and communicated openly each day of the project. It took a total of five and a half days but we were never left without access to water or the bathroom. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, efficiency and quality of work.

We had talked to a few plumbing companies about how to fix a problem caused by another bathroom remodeling company, and we were always told it would be expensive and difficult. Oak Creek Plumbing had done some work with a basement remodel job we had last year, so I decided to ask them to see if they could fix it. They sent over Steve, who is just a wonderfully friendly and great guy.
Steve arrived on time first thing in the morning, and quickly assessed the issue. He was professional and was able to propose a solution that would not be as horrible as the other plumbers had suggested. This solution involved cutting a hole in a closet wall on the reverse side of the shower to access the plumbing, replacing the cheap fixture the other company had installed, then leaving an acrylic access panel in the closet so we could access the area again if needed.
Steve quickly gave me a bid, then let me know he would be here all day to make sure we got this problem fixed, letting the office know that they needed to arrange other plumbers for the rest of the day’s calls which made me feel like he was taking this job seriously and also being respectful of the other people who were waiting to have their issues addressed.
Steve worked hard all day and fixed the issue completely. He also found another problem from the prior bath repair and explained easily how we could fix it (caulk) or have their people come out to fix it. This included applying caulk to the back side of the shower surround, which would mean accessing it from the closet. He then proceeded to apply the caulk to the back of the shower for us!
In total, the bill was about $ 1400, which was cheaper because he explained the whole annual service plan which decreased the cost of the repair by about 10%.
Since he left, the shower has been working wonderfully!
I heartily recommend Oak Creek Plumbing, and especially Steve, to anyone who needs plumbing work. They were wonderful to work with!

Initial charge about $ 80 just for coming out. Steve came out to replace a pipe to our sanitary sink. He also had to snake it out just to make sure the problem we had wasn’t somewhere underground. Did a great job and was very pleasant to talk to. See if you can get this guy, not all persons who do home repairs are so nice or polite.

Oak Creek Plumbing has consistently done a great job for me. They were professional and timely every time they have come out.
I had them come out on two calls under a home warranty. Each time I paid the $ 75 deductible. The first was for a sink repair. They replaced the seals and realigned the levers. The second time was for a clogged shower.
The most recent repair was not under the home warranty. The serviceman AJ simply charged me the service fee of $ 59.50 when he realized that the problem would be solved by tightening some of the nuts that connected the hose to the refrigerator.
I realize that I could probably have handled most of the problems on my own. But I felt ok with paying for an expert to come out to diagnose the problem and each time, the repairman took the time to explain how I could «do-​it-​myself» in the future.
