DO NOT BUY A TREE HERE ON CLEARANCE… Could not feel more ripped off by this company. I had a a 20 year old tree from my dad, and as if fell apart, I simply wanted to get away from the 2 day process of putting the tree together each year. Tree Classics had the shape I wanted when compared to the others. I bought a flip pre-​lit tree in the middle of summer sale. By the second Xmas, large patches of random lights had gone out, a HUGE inconvenience on a pre-​lit tree. After a week of trying to fix lights strands, I called customer service for help. Only then did I found out when the horrible policy you get for buying a tree on sale. When purchased on sale the product is considered «Clearance» and therefore without any warranty. Tree Classics Non-​Clearance trees, wreaths and garlands are covered by our Five Year Foliage and Two Year Light Limited Warranty. Clearance trees, wreaths, and garlands are covered by our 30-​day Light and Foliage Warranty. Merchandise purchased prior to this date may have different warranty terms. Another note of the lack of quality: The flip tree is not as well crafted as I had expected. The tree stands slightly slanted when finished, and does not come with a way to adjust the structure to sit straight.
We managed to get through the year by wrapping the tree with cheap white lights from the hardware store. In the end Tree Classics offered to send me 3 strands of lights. But by the problems I already encountered are a terrible patch which will just leave me with more headaches every year. I am likely going to have to rip all the pre-​lit strands and re-​wrap the tree myself before the tree goes up next year. Bought the classic cranberry christmas wreath from tree classics and I absolutely love it. They market it as a christmassy wreath, but it’s perfect for the entire fall season. I think the original price of $ 200+ is steep, but I got it on sale for a fraction of that and it’s a great find.
I’ll probably check out their traditional trees for next year since the wreath was such high quality.

My husband and I live in a small apartment, and we were delighted to receive the Slim Burberry Fir as a Christmas gift a few years back. It’s prelit and still going strong in its 3^rd year and looks absolutely adorable in our home. Assembly takes about 3 minutes bottom to top and fluffing takes about 10 minutes more to get it to look just right. We love it! I’d definitely buy another one as a present for a fellow «tiny dweller.»

Terrible!!! Placed order on Nov. 30 th and it is the 3^rd now and it still has not shipped. On their website it states, orders placed before midnight go out the next day. My wife placed the Order knowing she would need it by a certain date and it definitely isn’t going to make, hope it makes it for Christmas? Called to check on order and the guy has no clue when it will go out. Will never order another thing from this company and will leave reviews as well so people know to never order from them.

I ordered the Rustic Pinecone & Berries Holiday Wreath and it is beautiful! It shipped on time and in less than a week, which was great because I was a little late on my Christmas decorating. I love the wreath not only because all I had to do was take the wreath out of the box, add 3 AA batteries and it was up and adorning my door — but it looks so good!
The wreath arrived unharmed and looked great, though there were some berries on the wreath that were broken — but I’m not quite sure how you could ship something this big and ornate without having a couple broken berries.
I will definitely come back for more next year :-)

Last December I purchased a 9ft Aspen Spruce, flocked (899.99). There were two branches that did not work and after hiring an electrician to review (the company representative guided him what to do/​check) we gave up and they agreed to send us another tree with the caveat that we had to donate the defective tree. As you can imagine no one rushed to take a defective tree. Finally a lovely group agreed to take it, I informed the company, and our new tree arrived. We put up that tree and again instead of just two branches not working there is an entire section plus two branches. Checked the fuses, lights (not darkened) and plugs. It is a shame because this a very beautiful tree. But after two tree’s with defective branches of lights (and some of the branches come out when arranging them) there seems to be a problem.

I ordered Classic Cranberry Christmas Wreath from Tree Classics. It’s great looking and seems pretty sturdy so it should store well after the holiday season ends. The branches and berries are all pretty different from one another, so it actually looks pretty real even when you’re up closer to it. It’s two and a half feet across, which is perfect for our door, but it could look a little small if you have larger doors or double doors.
I also caught it on sale — bonus!

I received my Tree Classics 6ft prelit Slim Spruce tree yesterday and got it set up in less than an hour. It looks great in my living room and it doesn’t take up too much space. Like any artificial tree, it takes a good bit of sprucing before it looks full, but after spacing out the branches it looks great!

My tree was delivered to the wrong address and was left in front of someone’s door step 2 blocks away! Called customer service and the first rep explained the manager was on vacation and the other had to many calls backed up??? She wouldn’t let me stay on hold and insisted she would pass on my info and hung up on me! Called back again and was told my info would be passed on to a manager? This company is a RIPOFF ! Save your money and time!

I bought a SLIM CHRISTMAS Tree in Jan this year, on sale. 250.00 not exactly cheap. I only opened it today so I could check it. Well SLIM IT IS… the base was supposed to be 44″ can’t quite picture that, mind you… would not be surprised if it was half that… Branches, LOOK GOOD, THEY LOOK REAL AND FULL… I also bought a 9′ tree bag (my tree is 7′) well my tree is flying around the bag it’s so small.
I would say THREE OF MY TREES WOULD FILL THE
I really don’t have time to assemble it yet but I am not looking forward to doing that… since it appears SOOOO SLIM!!! SOOOO UPSET… I already got rid of my old FULL TREE!!!
Wish I had gone on this web site BEFORE BUYING.

One of my items, a christmas tree storage bag for $ 100, was not delivered by FedEx since the package was damaged en route. Tree classics was not able to send me a replacement since the item was out of stock, but refused to refund the entire amount. Since I used a coupon for $ 50 off of an total order $ 530 they would apply that entire coupon amount to the refund of the single item in effect refunding me only half of the paid amount.

Measure Tree Classics in lumps of coal. The tree lights are defective and I’ve been trying to get resolution since early December. I called. I sent emails. I sent pictures as requested. And I sent the pictures again and again. Now they say it is too late to send me a tree. I want to return it but they won’t take back defective merchandise without a $ 50! Shipping charge plus restocking charge. And rude doesn’t begin to describe Lakeysha. She says she is a supervisor so that explains the attitude of the other reps. I asked for a manager to call but no promise was made. I see others have contacted the Wisconsin Attorney General and BBB and I will do the same along with contacting my credit card company.
Stay away from this company!

«If I could give no stars i would… As others have said Tree Classics has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever encountered. Their policy states they will send you replacements if anything is damaged or not working. That is not the case. I bought some lights after talking with a sales rep for quite a while trying to figure out what lights would work for my tree as I bought it quite a few years ago. finally we decided on some lights. They arrived in small manila envelopes. since I couldn’t see if they were the right lights for my tree I opened one… they were not the right lights. We called and found out that since I opened the package we couldn’t return those lights! (so why don’t you put them in a plastic bag so I can see without opening?) Then we had to pay the shipping to return the lights that were wrong. then we had to pay for shipping of different lights and we got those today and they DON’ T WORK and they basically said TOO BAD. they could care less. Both times we were on the phone approx an hour being transferred around to all kinds of idiots who don’t care… so incredibly frustrating. And I was going to buy a few garlands and wreaths before I was treated so horribly! No way would I buy anything from them now… DO NOT buy anything from this company… they SUCK!!»

Terrible customer service!!! Hold times average 45 minutes and when you do connect with a customer service agent they are rude! I have always purchased our trees from Frontage and I am very nervous about this purchase. I am not confident that I will get this tree in time for Christmas.

Rip off company. Poor tree quality and I returned it without sending taking it out of the box. It was a plastic christmas tree and cost me $ 339 for the tree plus tax. I had to pay to return it for $ 57 and then they charged me a re-​stocking fee of 15%. Total rip off company. Do not buy from them as they misrepresented the quality of the tree and how it would look.

I purchased two kissing balls from this site. I got ripped off. They are no where near the size advertized. I wish I had checked the reviews before I had ordered from them.

UPDATE:
I received a message from Tree Classics advising me to take the defective Christmas tree and have it donated. I then had to fax to them a copy of the donation receipt, and they would then send me out a replacement tree! Uh, it’s already December 9^th! And I don’t have a car (That’s why I order things online, btw!)
When I called them back their customer service representative repeated the same policy to me and sounded like she was reading from a scrip as she repeated to me 5X: «You can send it back to us on your own, We cannot waive the $ 50 return label fee. You can donate the tree and we can send you a replacement once we get proof of your donation». I seriously wanted to ask her to repeat her scrip for the 6^th time, but I had things to do! I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that the supervisor was busy and someone will call me back
In the meantime, I went ahead and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin as well as with the Wisconsin Dept. of Consumer Affairs.
Finally received a voicemail message on DECEMBER 16 from Tree Classics. Elena called and stated that they would send me a return label, free of charge! And waive the 10% restocking fee (YES, THERE IS A RESETOCKING FEE!!!) All I needed to do was to call them back and let them know if I wanted a replacement tree or my $$ back. I called them back and asked to speak with Elena, but of course she was busy and I left a message with one of their live glorified answering machines.
So, I am now off to rent a car so that I can take this defective tree to a Fed Ex Ship Canter. Oh, and it’s December 22 — I still have no tree, but I do have a car rental bill and a letter from the Wisconsin department of Consumer Affairs that they have forwarded my complaint to the Wisconsin States Attorney because there may be fraudulent business practices with this business. Lovely!

My wife and I chose the 4.5′ American Fir Christmas Tree and it is simply perfect in our living room. The package was quick to arrive after ordering online so no issues there. We set up the tree just to make sure everything was in working order and it took about an hour to get it just right. All of the lights were bright, the tree looked amazingly full without any empty spots and we can’t say enough about how realistic it looks! We’re glad that we chose the clear lights since it gives a classic feel to the tree. We can have a different color scheme every year! We’re also happy that the tree is only 4.5′. Now, we don’t have to use a ladder to decorate! We have lots of decorations in storage so it will be a joy to decorate this tree after Thanksgiving!

Not even worth one star. ENDLESS ISSUES from beginning to end. Horrible service. Ridiculously unorganized. Absolutely terrible. My other review was «filtered» for some reason so click on filtered reviews if you want to read the whole issue I had.

I’d give this business negative stars if I could. Bought a tree there ¹²⁄₀₈. ¹¹⁄₁₀ many of the lights were not working. I called them to inquire about repair and they said «we don’t do repairs during the Christmas season but since you called within two years your repair will be covered. Just throw your own lights on the tree and bring it back early Jan 2011 and we’ll repair it per the warranty.» Fair enough so I did that. I got a call from another company two days ago saying it is $ 80 to fix my tree. According to them Tree Classics has laid off all staff and he does not know if they are still in business. They gave me two weeks to get the repaired tree or they will throw it out. Does anyone else know anything?
