History

Established in 2003.

Advanced Eye Care Professionals, P.C. was opened cold in 2003 by Dr. Casey Hogan. The original office was only less than 500 square feet with one employee, Jennifer Pankow, who has worked with Dr. Hogan since 1995 to present time. Dr. Hogan continued to serve on the faculty at the Illinois College of Optometry as Assistant Professor until 2011. AEP grew quickly and served as the prototypical practice template for other «new O.D.s» to follow as a roadmap to opening cold in the present day. Dr. Hogan has been instrumental in volunteering her time, business plans, and operational advice in aiding many of her fellow colleagues and students in opening the practices of their dreams. AEP has since expanded to a new location in Oak Lawn, IL, has grown to a staff of 10 employees, and one part-​time associate O.D., Dr. Karina Langle.

Friendly staff and great service. They allied my glasses and contacts to me when I went out of town. The doctors did a thorough eye exam for my baby in the fun children’s exam room. Everyone was very nice and helpful!

The staff at the front desk, the medical assistants, and the doctor are all a pleasure to interact with. They take every step possible to make your visit comfortable. I do not do well with people bringing things close to my eyes but they do a fantastic job of managing my sensitive eye closing and often twitching behavior :) As long as I live in this area, I would continue to go here for all my eye care needs!

Excellent service! I’ve been searching for a new eye doctor for my son and myself and luckily I came across this place. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and courteous, they offered us refreshments as we waited. The office was very clean and well decorated. The nurse and doctor were excellent with my seven year old! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an eye doctor.

Came back in to look at the cat eye glasses and decided they were just not for me, however I chose the other set that I loved from my first visit. Thank God Brenda had put them away for me :)
Amanda also saved me lol, there was the other set that I liked however Amanda said «Oh definitely that one, it makes u look like u have a double eyebrow» lol… Thanks Amanda for saving me :) I truly appreciate your honesty.

My family and I have been coming here for the past 7 years. I am so glad that we made the switch from one of the big eye glass chains to here.
The staff here is so friendly. If you don’t like friendly and happy people, this is not the place for you:)
The staff always look for the lowest possible prices for you. They will look at all avenues to lower the price before you pay.
Dr Hogan is one a kind. She is so personable and friendly especially with kids. My daughter loves coming here every year.
Also don’t forget to support their Rubber Duck Derby they have every year!!!

Extremely happy I made the switch!
I was looking for a new place to take my family for routine exams and glasses for those of us who need them. Our first appointment for my daughter a few weeks ago went great! From the moment you walk in and out the door everyone is very polite, professional and helpful. Stopped in the other day to drop something off and today to pick up her glasses and received they exact same treatment as the first visit. I complimented them today on their superior customer service.
I was with our previous eye doctor for three years and since the very get-​go a few staff members always rubbed me the wrong way. Every time we went in I would hope those two would have that day off!
Great prices, great staff, great service, great everything!
I highly recommend this office to everyone!

Fist time there and everyone was awesome. Dr. Hogan was amazing, talked to you like a real person and answered all questions in an understandable way. Support staff was great-​courteous, professional, and very very helpful. The also have a great IT process to submit all your information ahead of time so you’re not stuck filling out the forms for an hours, just a few clicks and your done! Will recommend them to everyone! Oh, and very reasonable on prices!!!

I am writing this review for my Mom and Uncle who came here to see Dr Bob on my recommendation. They both loved how friendly and helpful everyone was (and still is) to them. My Mom had a lot of trouble with her contacts and had to go back to the office several times, but Dr bob and his staff worked with her until she got comfortable wearing them.
As for my Uncle, he has a rare eye condition that makes him nearly blind. Dr Bob met with him a couple times and prescribed him hard contacts lenses because he said they would help him see better than eyeglasses. It was a trying process for my uncle because his eye condition made it even more difficult for him to get his contacts in and out. It took a few months for him to get the hang of it, but his vision has never been better and his quality of life has really improved.
