Rover.com – Dog Boarding & Sitting

I recently used
for dog boarding for my 6 month old Lab puppy. She had such a fun time and came home exhausted from playing with the owners dog and children. She also sent me photo updates and text messages all day long to let me know how she was doing. So much easier and more affordable than boarding at a kennel!!!

has been really helping with finding dog walkers and pet sitters, even last minute. Just last night we were going over our schedules for the next day and realized the dog would be alone for almost the entire day. Pulled up the
app on my phone and was able to book a sitter/​dog walker for the next day in less than 30 minutes. Very pleased with the service. We had one sitter who showed up late and
sent us an apology almost immediately with a small credit towards our next booking (with a different sitter).
Only wish they had an option when booking for dog walking instead of solely the default of overnight pet sitting.

Rover made going out of town and leaving my dog behind as painless as possible. It was easy to search the site, read reviews of different pet-​sitters and communicate with them before making a decision. The actual booking process is very easy as well, and the site and app make it a breeze to stay in touch while you’re gone. I was nervous leaving my dog for an extended amount of time, but after finding my pet-​sitter on Rover I was able to enjoy my vacation. In my experience using Rover was much cheaper than boarding her at a kennel and I knew she was having a good time playing with other dogs and feeling comfortable in a home-​setting. I will definitely use Rover again (with the same sitter, of course)!

Being new to the area, we were having a bit of difficulty finding someone to watch our dog for an affordable price. We decided to give Rover a try and have been very pleased. The site is easy to navigate and there are many sitters to chose from. We actually have found a sitter that we now use consistently with Rover!

We needed a place for our two older dogs while we were away for 10 days. Rover.com’s dog boarding website was crucial in helping us make our choice. We were able to see the location of our preferred sitter, we knew how much it would cost, and we had many emails back and forth working out details before the event.
It was so good that we’re about to use it again for another trip AND we’ve become
sitters ourselves!

I am a dog sitter for Rover and it is an awesome service. For my family its a great way to take care of a dog when we don’t yet have one, and to make a little cash at the same time. If you love dogs, what’s better then getting paid to do what you love and probably would do for free?
