I’ve been taking my alterations to Erica’s for a few months now and she’s done a great job thus far. I would recommend her!

The first time I called Erica’s was when my daughter panicked two days before prom, because she couldn’t zip up her dress. It was a snug fit and apparently the last time she tried it on the zipper pulled too much and bent. Erica fixed the zipper and even loosened the fit somehow, completely saving the day… in just a day. What a relief! So I went back to Erica’s to get my bridesmaid dress altered about a month later. I called and asked if I could bring it in as late as possible because I was working out and my body was changing quite a bit. I brought it in 7 days before the wedding, and asked her to make it snug because I was pretty sure I’d drop another few pounds, which I did… and the dress fit perfectly, I had many compliments. The mother of the bride also took her dress in to Erica to get altered, another wonderful job. Erica is very helpful and friendly. We also purchased some pretty jewelry to wear at the wedding. Erica absolutely is my go-​to tailor from now on!

My daughter is getting married and one of the bridesmaid’s dresses she ordered did not fit. I saw where Erica worked with the dress supplier– Dressy. I called Erica, she called the supplier and got all the details in a matter of hours. She was wonderfull! Thank you, Erica!

Torn between giving 3 or 4 stars for this review. My mom has been a long-​time customer of Erica’s and when I needed to get my wedding dress altered she suggested I give her a shot. I figured the price would be more reasonable than in the city although I didn’t request any other estimates. I ended up paying $ 500 total for the bodice of my dress to be taken in a size, get it hemmed, do some work on the bust area, and make a bustle. My dress was there for 3 months all together… not a big deal since I gave plenty of time but I did have one appointment rescheduled due to prom season getting busy which was a little annoying since I had coordinated bridesmaids to come to that appointment to learn how to do the bustle. Other than rescheduling, the major disappointment in this process was I showed up to get my dress 1 week before my wedding when I was told to come and it wasn’t ready. The owner was very nice about it and rescheduled it to be ready the Wednesday before my Saturday wedding but it definitely messed with my week-​before schedule. I also was not offered a discount at all and didn’t request one since there were several other customers in the store when I picked it up. The dress looked and fit beautifully and was pressed when I picked it up, but when my bridesmaids bustled the dress for me part of the bustle broke (thread to go around a button ripped) and we ended up having to use safety pins to keep the train up for the reception. Felt like that was kind of a waste of $ 100. I would still recommend Erica’s because my dress did fit perfectly, just give yourself plenty of time and have some safety pins around!

I’ve been going to Erica for about 4 years because I worked in the area. Her shop is very modest but her work is great. I am vertically challenged so nothing fits me off the rack. There hasn’t been anything should couldn’t do for me. She tailors my jeans, my dresses regardless of hem complication, she’s even turned dresses into skirts per my request. She will give you feedback on your alteration choices, but doesn’t mind doing something that she doesn’t agree with (haha). I don’t work in the area anymore but I plan to continue going to her… when I can make it in within her store hours. She now even sells formal wear and accessories. Her prices are comparable and fair.

For years and years I wore pants that didn’t fit right because I couldn’t find any brand that would fit my particular body type. Luckily I discovered Erica’s Tailor & Dress Shop. I now buy pants and take them to Erica to be altered. Finally I have pants that fit thanks to her expert alterations.

I’ve had many things tailored by Erica over the years. She used to do the tailoring at Spauldings (and its successor name). I’ve had suits tailored, pants hemmed and even sent my teenage son their to have his suit tailored. Her prices are not inexpensive but are also not outrageous. She is open Saturday morning but not evenings.

I had several suit coats expertly tailored by Erica. Besides being a lovely and charming individual she is an excellent skilled craft person who knows her stuff. She takes her time with you and makes certain things are the way you want them. Finding someone to custom tailor and adjust suit jackets is becoming a rarity. She does impeccable work and takes pride in her talent. She is also reasonably priced. I highly recommend her if you want it done right.

I sent my boyfriend with our extra long curtains after I couldn’t find a new set that fit our oddly sized windows, and she did a very nice job. They weren’t done very quickly and she keeps very tight store hours, so it took us a long while to get them back. Also, I paid more than I would have for new curtains if I would have been able to find the right size. All that being said, if I need some clothes altered I will give her another try.
