Established in 1985.

Dr. Salerno is a graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry. He has post graduate specialty training in Oral Surgery, Endodontics (Root Canals), Periodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry. As a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society, he regularly participates in continuing education courses.

Dr. Salerno is DA MAN. He utilizes the best of technology out there to detect cavities and he projects what’s going on in your mouth on a screen that you can see — and then once he gets to work, he puts on a TV show for you.
Very comfortable office, and very professional. He has been in the business 30 years, and his office assistant has been with him 20. Hygentist is great as well. For Chicagoans who are sick of the corrupt dental industry in the city, he’s your guy to go to right around the corner.
If you don’t think you’re insurance covers his care, call and talk to his office assistant. It might. Just trust me on it.
He knew exactly how to handle my fearful 4-​year-​old daughter and was able to clean her teeth despite a tantrum she threw.

He is a horrible dentist. He has ruined my teeth. I have had to have many surgeries because of the mistakes he has made on my teeth. I have gotten two teeth pulled and my jawline is not aligned because of him. I am in constant pain. My daughter also has had to spend over a thousand dollars to get her teeth fixed as well.

I had a great experience yesterday at this office — the service was kind (almost) pain free and very quick. Just the way a dentist visit should be. I highly recommend Dr Salerno – He took the extra steps to make me comfortable and charged a very reasonable price for what he accomplished.

I am a total «dento-​phobe,» and I highly recommend Dr. Salerno. He is highly educated and up to date on the latest procedures, he has leading-​edge equipment in his office, and, above all, he is an absolute perfectionist (which I want in someone fixing and crafting my mouth). On an elevator ride down from an appointment, I encountered an employee of a lab with which Dr. Salerno does business, and she remarked how her lab loved Dr. Salerno, and always could rely on his premier-​quality work. To top it off, he is friendly, and he has a variety of top-​notch entertainment to keep his patients amused whilst in the chair. To all who go and who are hesitant to go to a dentist: This is the one.

Everyone I work with goes to Salerno. He has the most advanced dental tool I’ve ever seen — he touches it to your teeth & is able to tell if you’re starting to get a cavity under the enamel. This means he catches them as early as possible.
