They closed without contacting customers who have prepaid car washes. I’m out $ 88 and am reaching out to anyone who has information on how I can get my $$$ back.

It took 45 minutes to get the outside of my car washed for $ 13. Never again!

Excellent work. Brought my car in for a detail and it was unbelievable the job they were able to achieve. The car was left spotless. Must go here for a quality job.

Great place especially the prices are very reasonable. Employees who wash your car kinda slow, but hey they get the job done. Bottom line good place I would recommend it.

An HOUR AND A HALF for a car wash on a Friday afternoon… this is where hope comes to die. Never again. I saw them give deference to luxury cars and wash them before other cars which is not only unethical, it’s un-​American.
And I’m not sure what kind of luxury car drivers would have an hour and a half to get their car washed on a Friday afternoon.

They do a pretty thorough job cleaning the car in my experience, but they’re incredibly inefficient. On a busy day, two car lanes converge to one exit and no car moves until the one in front is complete. Now, the car in front may have been cleaned and dried 15 minutes prior, but it won’t begin the final blow and vac until it reaches the end of the line. It’s a huge bottleneck which prevents the line from moving and keeps 50% of the staff standing around waiting at any given time. They do have two exit lanes but voluntarily block one for drop off detailing. If they would just clear that second lane and move the detailing to the back, they could do twice the business. How many people drive off when they see the backup? I’ve been here one hour, my car has been in the garage the whole time (no time waiting to just drop it off) and my car still has four others ahead of it.

A year later, and this place is still the easiest option for me. Sometimes it’s okay but others not. The last time, I was driving a 20 year old car that needs to be given extra car and they managed to break my key in the ignition (it was not inserted all the way and they just bent it until it started) and break my turn signal, which was probably a bit delicate. The manager was genuinely apologetic and offered to have someone fix the issues, but I know the car better than anyone and I’m not going to trust a stranger to fix that stuff. In the end, I know not to take my older car there. Really, I should have known.
My wife still goes here and gets good results 80% of the time. I’ll also still come here at times, I just wish there was another option.

We have used this car wash in the past and they’ve done a decent job. However, last month our son threw up in the car (TMI — sorry) and we rushed the car over in the hopes we could mitigate the smell. Because we did this in such a hurry, we left our IPad under the front seat. Obviously, this is not a smart thing to do but we were in a rush. When the car came back, the IPad was gone. We called Motor City and they said one of their employees had found it and placed it in the trunk. So it was there… once. We never had follow up, acknowledgement or an apology. So — they do an ok job but they have at least one honest employee and one dishonest employee and no customer service to speak of. We won’t be going back there.

I was wondering why I stop coming to this place, that’s right, they don’t do a good job. I decided to stop here for a wash because it was convient and I need one badly. I must admit its a nice place, very comfortable, but thats not what I expect the most, I expect a clean car. They half washed my car, left mud on the bottom of the doors, and they are super slow. Those guys move like turtles. I’ll only go back if I really really have to, my first choice is Hollywood on Roosevelt and menard.

This is one of two Motor City’s that I bring my ride to and have it washed. They do a great job for a reasonable price, $ 20, for my SUV. They take their time washing the inside and outside, air blowing the water out of the crevices and making sure there is no water run-​off. The only downside of this place is that it can take a while to get your car finished at a busy time. I recommend coming here right when it opens to be first in line. They also have wheels/​tires and other accessories to pimp your ride.
