History

Established in 1999.

Jose M. Ortega incorporated Ortega & Associates, LLC in 2009. Since that time Mr. Ortega has successfully represented clients in the negotiation, settlement and litigation of their divorce, paternity and family law matters. He has also provided advice in the area of Estate Planning.

Prior to 2009, he has represented clients in the area of Family Law and also Worker’s Compensation, he has represented injured workers successfully. Moreover, later on in his career he also represented insurance companies and knows how these types of claims are handled by them. He has also represented clients in the area of Personal Injury.

Business Owner

Jose M. Ortega did his undergraduate studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree. He studied law at Loyola University of Chicago and obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1999. He earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from Chicago-​Kent College of Law in 2015.

Mr. Ortega has practiced Law since 1999 and has successfully represented clients in the negotiation, settlement and litigation of their divorce, paternity and family law matters.

He has also represented clients in the area of Worker’s Compensation, he has represented injured workers successfully. Moreover, later on in his career he also represented insurance companies and knows how these types of claims are handled by them.
