My clients experience tension, stress, pain, fatigue, anxiety evaporate when my skillful loving hands firmly sculpting their achy muscles, and soften their connective tissue. My massage also increases the level of feel good hormones oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine so that their whole body exhales into a deep inner relaxation.

They feel calm, centered, rejuvenated, nurtured, serene, transformed. Their minds become as expansive as the sky.

History

Established in 2012.

As a licensed massage therapist, certified by the state of California with 2300 hours of training and 14+ year full-​time career, I have worked in 5-​star spas and resorts in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. I had a private practice from 1999 — 2010 called Integrity. In 2012 I started Affordable Massage because I saw the need for high-​quality therapeutic massage at a price people could afford. I come to people’s homes so that they can relax after the massage, rather than get stressed by driving home.

Massaging people makes my heart sing. I feel their tension and pain disappear, and see them rejuvenated. I work with chronic health issues only as long as is needed, whether a few sessions or a few months. I enjoy maintaining people’s health goals with a massage every 1 – 4 weeks.

I studied massage to help people reduce the stress of overwork. As the international marketing director of a large company abroad, I worked 75 hours a week. Every Sunday morning I had a 2 hour massage that released the whole week’s stress. I experienced the day totally relaxed.

I have trained 2300 hours in 14 modalities, including deep tissue, craniosacral therapy, pre-​natal, reflexology, Reiki, hot stone, Thai, and myofacial release. I have a range of methods to suit the various and changing needs of clients.

Working full time at the Oaks of Ojai Spa, Spa del Mar at Fess Parker Doubletree Resort, The Pierpont Inn, and Massage Envy fine tuned my skills over 12 years.
