After an accident in Oakland, we had to have a car towed and stored. The AAA tow driver, Michael, was amazing. At 7am on a Saturday, he was kind and gracious. He suggested we have the car towed to their storage lot a few blocks away.
This was a 15 year old car and the collision coverage was taken off last year. The car belonged to my mom who passed away two months ago, I was co-​owner. Her insurance company basically told me tough luck, figure everything out yourself. The tow yard ended up helping us get the car donated for scrap for a tax deduction.
Thank you for making a crummy situation easier.
