I can’t say enough about my experience with Dr. Aum. I will keep the details of my medical background confidential, however I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Aum for those in need of a doctor who «thinks outside the box.» She is caring, thorough and expert in her field.

What can I say, I absolutely love Doctor Shah! Without going into too much of my medical history, suffice it to say that I was desperately in search of a doctor that would work with me as part of a team to make me healthy again. I had medical issues that were getting worse each month. I was exhausted and felt sick constantly. I went to so many doctors trying to find someone who could help. All I got back was doctors trying to give me pills! I didn’t want pills that would mask my symptoms, I wanted to find out what was going on and deal with the root cause. Enter Doctor Shah. I knew it was going to be different the first time I sat down with her. We actually had a real conversation and she listened! How refreshing!!!
Since that first meeting we found some things that the other doctors should have found but didn’t. I’m finally on the road to recovery and I literally could not have done this without her. I know… because I tried. Did I mention I love Dr. Shah!!! Do yourself a favor, if you’re in need of good medical care call her today!

I started seeing Aumatma last year through a recommendation from my acupuncturist. I needed to get my health back in order.
Aumatma was great! She recommended a few tests and talked me through the results. Then recommended a plan to get me on track. She didn’t push her plan on me but rather we talked through what I was comfortable with and not. Then we came up with a final plan together.
After several weeks on the plan, I started to sleep better and had much more energy. My skin was doing better and clearing up from the redness I was experiencing. Then more importantly I easily got pregnant with now my beautiful 2 month old baby girl.

Dr. Aum is simply amazing. I started my journey 8 months ago (super demanding job, poor food choices, no exercise, no water, scary and continuous weight gain, high cholesterol, apnea, serious pre-​diabetes). My regular Kaiser doctor recommended around 4 different medications and that was my wake up call. I wasn’t ready to treat my body with meds when I knew I could make the changes on my own. I tried that but didn’t get too far. That’s when I found Dr. Aum. After a long conversation of how I managed to get myself in this mess she began with a clear and doable plan to start changing my situation.
Numbers speak for themselves. My glucose level has dramatically decreased, lost a lot of weight, I’m dancing (Zumba) 4 times per week, I like water now! My energy level is so high, and overall I feel great.
She is not a doctor that tells you what to do. She lets you figure it out, lets you try and fail and learn on your own. I think that’s her biggest skill. She is a great coach.
There’s so much to learn from her and I look forward to continue my journey having her by my side. Couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Shah is GREAT. I’m giving her five stars because she sees me on holidays (like July 4^th) when other places are closed (among other reasons).
The concept of the Karma Clinic so works for me because at the moment I’m financially poor. The service isn’t free, it’s a gift, so that means I can pay it forward in other ways. I don’t feel shame-​faced when I go to see her and am unable to pay because she and I both understand there are other ways to give. Of course, I have to pay for any supplements I buy, but still. I’m getting healthcare when I need it the most.
I also appreciate the focus on health and valuing me as a person. She sees me as a person and not just a patient needing to be fixed.
Did I mention she does skype appointments? Soooo helpful for someone like me who keeps herself very busy. And that means you don’t have to be in the Bay Area to get help from her.
And lest you’re thinking it’s all hippie dippy stuff with crystals and the like, she also advocates (and can order) scientific tests that check your TSH levels or whatever.
The *one* drawback is she’s a one-​woman show so that means you won’t be getting an appointment reminder call and stuff like that. Still, I highly recommend her.

I was recently introduced to Dr. Shah by Weihaur Lau as part of One Health, who I’ve been working with as an integrated health care and well-​being guide and consultant. I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, a chronic condition for over 10 years and I was seeking to dig deeper into the condition and look at how my diet played a role in the Fibro «events.»
I had never been to a homeopath and didn’t know too much about the process although I have seen many doctors and alternative care practitioners in the last decade. Dr. Shah was extremely gracious and patient as I sat for over two hours recanting the long list of my physical and emotional symptoms. Through listening and her medical and intuitive training/​experience, she was able to pinpoint the exact homeopath remedy, which I took over the next two days.
It was kind of amazing, I haven’t had a major Fibro event since then and it has been nearly 5 weeks. I can still feel my body wanting to wig out with pain, but I’ve been able to take care of it before any huge event happened. It’s like my body now gives me a sign and enough time to respond in a way that best serves me and my body.
During my next visit with Dr. Shah, we looked at the vitamins and supplements that would best for me. Dr. Shah also pointed out the highest grade of supplements that my body can absorb, which took a lot of guesswork out of shopping for vitamins. I was also until this time using vitamins that weren’t doing anything — now I feel confident that I am taking supplements that are actively giving me more energy and additional nutrients that I need.
Dr. Shah is professional, loving and highly knowledgeable. I feel very lucky to have connected with her. You don’t have to completely understand how homeopathy works, but be open to the process and know that you’re in very good hands.

I went to visit with Dr. Aumatma a few months ago and wanted to share my experience.
On the initial appointment, we had a deep conversation followed by a physical remedy that I was to take. I went down to the bay to take it because I felt like I needed to be near the water. I sat in the car after having some water and waited for the time to pass. Before I took the remedy I asked myself if I was ready to take on the changes that you had said would take place. My answer was yes… but that I knew making those changes last would require my participation and care. I also felt very humbled, I had tried in a variety of ways to let go of some of what I was carrying before. With ceremony, with writing about it a lot, talking, dreaming, crying, choosing to let go, etc. Nothing had really worked and I wasn’t sure about the remedy, but I reminded myself that I really wanted it to work. And then I took it. I immediately, as soon as it hit my tongue, felt an opening sensation in my face. My mood changed, I felt lighter, I felt warm and relaxed, I felt like whatever was going on in my life was as it was supposed to be, I just felt happy and almost lovingly humorous. It was profound. I have never believed in magic pills but that was about as close as I’ve ever been to something that completely and irrevocably changed my perspective and sense of my self in my life. It felt like coming home to a self that I’ve been before in other times… but had lost somewhere along the way. Wow. After that I took the other doses as indicated and stopped after 24 hours. I could feel that they reinforced the feeling, and it just made me feel better having the process to follow.
In the days afterward I kept track of the feelings that we had put in the spreadsheet, but I just didn’t need it for long. Since then life continues but I feel different, better, more able to be present to it. There are some things that I am working on with Dr. Aumatma but am grateful for this incredible healing.
Since then I have passed her name on to many friends, and told them about the Karma Clinic. One of my friends, recently saw her and thanked me because of how dramatic the results had been for her as well.
It feels like a miracle and I’m struggling for ways to describe this experience in words that both do it justice but are not so alarmingly awed as to sound bland or undiscerning. I have a new and very intrigued respect for homeopathy. The depths that it touched, the profundity of the specific way it interacted with me, unexpected would be an understatement. Dr. Shah is an incredibly talented healer and I am grateful, and humbled, to have been given an opportunity to witness magic in this way. Thank you.
