So here’s the deal… I am one of the pickiest people you’ll ever come across. So believe me when I say that this experience at Auto Row Smog was outstanding! The proprietor, Brian, is probably the best part of the entire experience. His customer service, kindness, and professionalism is outrageously great! His explanations, quotes, and pricing are straight forward and very very reasonable. The work is done on time, and within the price range as stated. All of the mechanics at the shop were friendly, helpful, and seemed very happy to work there. I just found my new number one and only shop for all of my vehicles. I only really write a review if it is a five star experience. So here I am writing this review while sitting at the shop. I brought my car in on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and they still managed to look at my car and diagnose the problems. Really nice people and were very fair. They definitely have the character that I look for when it comes to working on my vehicle. I believe I just found my new permanent place for auto repair, smog, etc. you definitely will not regret coming here.

I’m not one to do reviews on anything, but I felt the need to do so this time around. So I came here out from a random pick from Unilocal!And I honestly loved the customer service. They were genuine, quick and thoroughly answered all my questions. I just wished they some coupons to beat their competitors, but the extra money was well spent.

Highly recommended! My cat sensor refuses to turn on and Brian has been very patient with my car. Unfortunately we could not resolve this issue, but he has been very honest with me from the start (unlike the acura dealership I went to). Definitely will take my business back here in the future!

If I could give 10 stars I would. These guys are fabulous! I’ve been looking for a reliable mechanic for a long time and after a great smog check experience I decided, when my brakes started making a funny noise, to give these guys a try and damn, am I glad I did! They couldn’t have been friendlier and did a great job with my brakes. Also, I had been meaning to get my side view mirror fixed for a while (after a scrape with a bush it was hanging on tentatively with the help of duct tape). Another mechanic had quoted me around $ 280 as according to him it needed a new piece. Not only did these guys fix it, even though I hadn’t asked, THEY DIDN’T CHARGE ME!!! Omg! I am so, so happy to have found this place. They are the bees knees with sprinkles on top!

Fabulous service and very quick and efficient! I went to this smog location because Unilocal reviewers have it amazing reviews. Good thing I visited here because the cost was decent, the service was very friendly but also very quick and efficient.
I highly recommend this location if you need a smog check. We have two other cars and when it’s time to get it smogged, I will be visiting here.

Stop reading reviews, you found your smog test place. I’m sure there are other places that are good, but it would be impossible to do better.
Went in today, with a more expensive car from 1999, customer service was awesome, good people, paid less than $ 67, in and out in like 20 minutes all in. Unbeatable. I didn’t need a fix, but they can help with repairs if you need them. Can’t do better, seriously, stop wasting time reading reviews, you have now found the best available place.

My came needed a smog this year for registration, so I turned to Unilocal and came across Auto Row Smog and decided to give it a shot. I called ahead to see if they had some availability, and staff was really friendly, told me to come on by and they would have me out quickly.
I did just that, showed up and within 30 minutes I was out the door, certificate in hand and everything taken care of. The staff is great, extremely efficient and definitely have the neighborhood feel where you can feel safe and trusting of the work they do.
Though I hope not to need any service, if I do I will definitely be back here.

Love them! They are the best at what they do and always friendly. I’ve come back for all my smog checks since I found out about them. They are very efficient. On a few occasions, I’ve come in without an appointment and I was out in under an hour. The smog check takes no longer than 15 – 20 minutes if your car is well maintained.
One time my car did not pass, Brian told me I needed a new catalytic converter which would cost me around 2k to get replaced. He told me that with my make, model and the miles I drove, the manufacturer guaranteed that my car would pass smog up to 150,000 miles. It’s amazing what information and knowledge he has. He was a life saver!

As I drove in, I was greeted by Brian, a friendly guy who let me know off the bat what the timeline would be.
Him and the owner continually checked in with me as they continued the smog check, letting me know where they were in the process (great customer service). Given that this took a whole fifteen minutes, I was impressed by their commitment to customer satisfaction and communication.
If you need a smog check, no better place to go. Fast, easy, and convenient (right off the freeway).

So I wanted to get my car diagnosed and after researching on Unilocal I went to Auto row smog.
Brian, the owner, was very courteous and explained in length about the diagnostic codes read from the car.
We had a great conversation about cars and technology as it turned out we are both passionate about them.
Brian showed me his concept three wheel car which he has been working on. It is really impressive.
He even put extra effort on the car.
Would definitely recommend.
