DO NOT CHECK IN HERE! Soon as we checked in the lady at the register to check in was not friendly. She gives us our key to a non smoking room but soon as e open the door we are overwhelmed by the smell of cigarettes. I walk back to the front desk to tell her and all she says is to open the window because people are crazy. Before I can open my mouth again she starts going back to the room she came from. I then ask her if we could change room and she just says no and looks impatient like I’m causing her problems. I just say okay and all out. So here we are in the too. With the window open trying to get rid of the stench of cigarettes in a supposedly non smoking room. The sink also does not drain and most of the channels on the tv are static and no remote. There is no room phone. And the wifi cut out about 15 minutes after we checked in. This place is awful.

terrible absolutely terrible I’ve stayed here before each time was just because I could only afford $ 75 but they lost my business for good. I booked 2weeks in advanced, I showed up said my card declined I went to give them another they refused to take it. I check my account I had over $ 1,000 in my account. I figured out what happened, I got a cheap rate and that weekend prices tripled so they over booked and took some one else who paid more. since taking my business else where in Oakland i realized how poor their service is and uncomfortable the beds are. I went to complain to some one other than the old lady at the front desk and the guy said there’s nothing he can do. STAY AWAY!

Do not stay here. The door locks apparently do not exist in most rooms, the receptionist refuses to do her job or even answer when
tried to call her, they tried to charge my credit card and not give me a room. The place next door, rodeway inn, is just as cheap but nicer and safer.

seeeedy motel inconveniently sited! no bay no breeze! when I checked out in the morning I discovered shoes and ’tissues’ under the bed left by some previous guest. that’s what I get for taking orbitz suggestion!

Worst customer service I have ever encountered! My sister in law called to cancel and they hung up on her after saying «theres nothing I can do!». I called after and received the same response when requesting to cancel. She had a SMART ASS type attitude. She told me to call back at 11:30 the next morning, I asked for her name and she says «WHY?», I explained I’d like to know who I’m speaking to, and she hung up on me.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. We booked three rooms through Expedia unpublished rate for our friends. Upon booking the rooms, two of our friends decided to join us. Therefore, we contacted the hotel immediately and requested for double beds rooms. We were more than happy to take care of the difference if needed. However, the hotel staff informed us that they do not have any record about our reservation despite the fact that we repeatedly telling them we made the reservation through Expedia and provided them our names and date of reservation. We were frustrated and called Expedia for additional assistance. Unfortunately, Expedia could not assist us for any modification due to its unpublished rate policy. We had no choice but called the hotel again. Sadly, problem was still not resolved due to the fact that the staff did not speak English fluently and asked us to call back when the manager was around. We were speechless at this point. We contacted Expedia a few more times and spoke to different customer service representatives hoping to make the modification. Finally, one of the Expedia representatives told us the hotel would make the modification once we check in. It was such a great news for us. We were quite disappointed to find that the hotel did not make any modification as promised reasoning all the rooms were booked. OH MY GOD… Are you serious !!! The hotel was not fully booked my dear… We ended up getting another room at a hotel nearby. HONESTLY, I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH BAD EXPERIENCE with this hotel and Expedia before… Wasted my time and LESSON LEARNED ! should have been more careful.

This Inn is run by a family, note that the older lady at the front desk is not friendly. Don’t expect quality service and if you need extra toiletries you have to go down to the front desk, as there are no phones in the room. You get what you pay for located at the industrial area of Oakland. Good for a night to crash at, with cheap rates. Here are some Pros and Cons:

Pros:
— The price is great. I needed a place to stay after an audition in SF and wanted to bop around the area the next day.
— The sink and bathroom seem to be updated.
— There’s a microwave and a mini-​fridge.
— It’s close to the freeway.
Cons:
— I basically had a sheet to sleep in. There was no blanket. (I was not going to use the cover. EW.)
— When I picked up the remote a tiny cockroach crawled out.
— The door barely closed so I put up a chair by it just in case.
— The walls are thin. Bring earplugs.
Overall: I don’t think I will be back unless I’m super desperate.

This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been to in my life! 1^st: they didn’t want to go by their online prices because apparently it was wrong, 2^nd: the bathroom still had hair from the previous persons, 3^rd: the bed sheet had blood on it!!! DISGUSTING OMG! Horrible! I took a picture of the sheet and showed the lady at the desk! Last but not least, they didn’t want to refund our money because 4 hours past and we were only in the room for 15min because we left and came back & also because i wouldn’t delete the picture in my personal phone! I threatened to call the police, then my money was returned! No one should ever experience that! They need to be shut down. Worst customer service, no one really spoke clear English, completely terrible. This is a warning to all whom decides to try and save money, DON’T! Not worth the filth…

Arrived late at night, tired, and not feeling great from the flight. I’m a single woman and this was a Hotwire spcial for $ 50. I kept telling the lady @ Hotwire that safety is my main concern. When I arrived there were two drunk guys talking about work by the office. I asked the manager if he was going to put me by those drunk guys and he said no I’m going to put you way in back we take care of our guest. So that was a good thing.
However, you’ll see from the pictures my room is not secure I put a chair against the door in the event somebody would try to come in at night I could at least hear it. The toilet seat almost falls off when you sit on it. The bedspread could definitely use a wash. However the sheets and pillowcases were clean and overall the room was relatively clean for the price.
Definitely a case of you get what you pay for. I doubt this meets hotwire’s «standards» Not a safe neighborhood.

When i went to check in the indians were real rude to me they have no patience all rooms are non smoking came for a Raider game its so cheap you cant beat it but i will never come here again.

Initially, I was mad sketched out too. When we pulled in, noticing the gated off parking lot and multiple bolted locks on some doors, our immediate reaction was to almost laugh at how ridiculously freaked out we were. Once we got checked in in the small hallway, we rushed to our room.
The room was eh. Decent TV for a hotel room, yeah only basic cable but that’s how all hotel rooms are — you’re basically supposed to be watching absurd unknown shows if you stay in a random room. The beds weren’t uncomfortable, okay to sleep on — but the headboards banged like no other. Even if you sat on the edge of the bed to put on your shoes it would bang loudly, so I can only imagine if anyone wanted to use the bed for … er, other things — it’s like the headboard was specifically designed to let the people in the next room know. There was a few bars of «facial soap», but no other real amenities (not even a phone to call the front desk), but we probably wouldn’t have used them anyway.
There was a little grass area with a basketball hoop and swing chair thing, looked like a makeshift backyard. The second floor overlooks a huge collection of pots, pottery, and vases which is mildly entertaining in it’s randomness.
Our night, despite us originally being all jittery, was perfectly fine. We had a bunch of people over to chill with us with no complaints. There wasn’t any noise, I didn’t even hear freeway traffic from our room. Once we got out of our own little minds it was fine.
The hotel is beyond basic, so it’s still getting a low rating — but you’re not like, going to get murdered. If you have to stay here for whatever reason, you’ll survive, but not a place I’d suggest if you have other options.

Employees are kinda hard to hear through the plexiglass with there thick accents. They seemed like nice people. We got to Cali the day before our reservation, reserved for a queen but we got a king the night we arrived. They let us stay in the king bed room for the price of the Queen, which was nice of them. They do have security cam’s on the premises (so you don’t have to worry about anybody messing with your stuff).
Only major downfall of my experience here is that the bedding was not 100% clean. Nothing like any other of the pictures posted here. Small stain and a piece of hair between the sheets. Though luckily we brought our own sheets (we always bring our own sheets to hotels).
If your balling on a budget, this may be for you. If your concerned about cleanliness, look elsewhere.

Well I just had one of the most horrible hotel experiences ever!
It took me forever to find it in this horribly industrial area
I get here and there’s all kinds of crackheads running all around
So I asked for a refund I have to call
— no one will give me a refund until I told them that I just did not feel safe here
and in the meanwhile of being placed on hold the owner came and harassed me I said I’m on the phone and she would not get out of my face asked what room I was in and I asked her if she was harassing me and she says that I need to go if I don’t have a room here
I said actually I do have a room and I’m looking to change that

Definitely not one of the fanciest hotels I’ve been to but then again it’s located in the industrial district in east Oakland, what ya expect.
The check in process was easy and the staff gave me a free upgrade to king size bed.
Look, this spot is not gonna blow yo socks away but it’ll do the job. The bed was comfortable, the outlets worked and the ac was keeping the room cool. This hotel is your ideal place to just knock out and hit the city. Yes, the area is «sketchy» but no real danger. Side note, there is a basketball court if ya trying get ya hoop on. Overall, positive experience.

My car got stolen from its gated premises
Their surveilance camera is running without tape recorder when asked by police
They did not offer any sympathy nor apology only rudyness behavior
Their rooms are completely noisy from freeway traffick

This is a motel for when you’re desperate and /​or really cheap.
The day staff is very impolite! The night guy was cool.
The maid service did NOT change the bedding but just made the bed.
The room was semi clean.
The TV only had a few working channels.
The shower and toilet worked.
I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

I found the place much better than the reviews showed it. Our room was clean. The hotel is in an industrial area, true, allmost deserted, but we didn’t feel unsafe.
Main problem: the wifi works extremely slow, sometimes even not at all.
We got un upgrade to a bigger bed without having to pay for it, thanks!
The price is lower than quality of the hotel. Bath room is quite good, warm water, enough pressure.

Horrible hotel! Rooms are well BELOW par and customer service sucks.
1. When I called to make a reservation, customer service told me there we no rooms left for date needed. I went online and was able to book
2. The surrounding area is extremely ghetto, prostitution and makes you feel unsafe to leave your belongings in the room.
3. The check in area was full of flies and weird people starring at you from their rooms while you unload your car.
4. The rooms stink, dirty, no phones, most tv channels don’t work, bed springs pocking out and toilet didn’t work.
5. When I informed the receptionist about the toilet not working, she told me to use the plunger. Wtf! Isn’t that what maintenance is for!!!
6. Refused to refund $ back.
7. Flies in room.
8. I do applaud them for participating in the independent living program. which allows the hotel to partner with the gvt to house recently released convicts.
After refusing to refund money, I was given another room. The new rooms was well UNDER par too.
DON’T STAY HERE!!!
