Strange place. From phone call to arrival, the assistant tried to persuade me not to get my hair done until the «master» is there. I was short on time and needed to get my hair done the same day. When asked if she or anyone else was available, she reluctantly stated she could do it. Of course I regretted it. The towel stunk over my shoulders and I let it go initially because it wasn’t touching my face, but when I was getting my hair washed she placed another towel over my eyes. I immediately removed it because I didn’t want a dirty smelly towel on my face! The assistant stated they did that because they were meticulous and had good service. I prefer bad service and a clean towel. The dye job was also strange to me. She stated they used the best organic products. I definitely am not a dye expert but my hair felt like clay whenever it was wet for 3 months. I was going to give the place 2 stars because the assistant was nice but the experience was so odd I have to go down to 1.

I dyed my hair a couple of months ago and the ends had been pretty dry and frayed, so I went in for a trim. I usually have a hard time finding a place that cuts my hair well because I have relatively thick Asian hair, and I feel like most places try to keep that «volume» which just makes my hair feel heavy and traps heat (which is terrible in the summer).
For $ 25, he washed my hair with like 3 kinds of things and then proceeded to cut it in small sections. I really appreciated the attention to detail and how carefully he cut each section. It takes a while, but I felt like the end result was worth the time. Once he had finished, he dried my hair, styled it, and touched it up (trimming it here and there). He did a fantastic job :)
All I asked for was a trim and layers, and I felt like he cut it to shape my face really well. He clearly knows what he’s doing. He doesn’t talk much, but I thought he was very polite.
My hair feels much healthier and lighter. I’ll definitely come back when I need another trim!

DO NOT GO HERE! if zero star was allowed i would have picked zero. HORRIBLE service, and also hair turned out not good looking!!! And when u try to suggest something, he throws u attitude and tells u to cut it urself!!! He charges more expensive than other places in the area and dared to DEMAND for tips after he did such a horrible job. Shameless man. Save urself some money and trouble and just go anywhere but here!

I first came to Ben after noticing that my girlfriend’s hair, which is thin and had always had «problem hair» suddenly looked fantastic! So I followed her lead and made an appointment for a haircut. Ben is an artist, and my hair has never been as beautiful as it is now… in fact, right now, Ben’s photo of his latest cut is in the middle of the photos. I’m going in this week to have Ben «tweak» his astounding cut, as I’m leaving the country for a bit and want to look fabulous. I will never go to anyone else as long as Ben is in business!

The second time I went here, the color came out weird, but the haircut was still great. I would go here for a haircut, but not color…

I walked by here today and decided to try it out. He was in there alone so I got helped right away. Wonderful head massage during the washing. He took a long time to cut, but because he was very careful about it. Lots of Ching trough my hair and cutting small sections. I might not go here if I had a time limit but I love the feeling of people coming through my hair, so I will be back! Also my cut looks great. :)

Great place for Asian men for a modern stylish Asian haircut. Probably just as great for women but can’t speak to that much. Affordable ($ 15 + tips for a cut and wash). Walk-​in welcome and I only had to wait briefly, though I went on a holiday weekend so not sure if it gets busy other days. They seem to be more popular for perms and straightening or other fancier services. Great location at the edge of Chinatown.

This is a gem! After eating lunch next door at Binh Minh Quan, I took my daughter for a haircut. Seeing how great of a job he did on her hair, I decided to go back a few weeks later to get my hair cut. Wow, the grace, perfection, confidence of how he cuts hair is truly AMAZING! His hands dance like a ballerina on your head… such precision and grace. Even though there was another person waiting, he took his time on my hair. I asked him to give me a cut that he thinks would look best on me and he gave a beautiful a-​line bob. Hands down the BEST haircut I’ve ever had… and for only $ 24!!!
The next day, I received a lot a compliments on my haircut… and I didn’t even really style it… just towel dried with a little hairspray… that’s it and I got so many compliments at work!
