Big Wheel Cookie Co

I first came across the Big Wheel Cookie Company at a Public Bikes Party in Oakland. I tried the Lemon Ginger Ice Cream Cookie and it was amazing. The cookie was awesome and the ice cream just topped it off for me! Great dessert from a pedal-​powered business!

My bf and I saw their cute little tricycle stand at the Rockridge Out and About festival. I’m an extreme pumpkin lover so we chose the ginger cookies w/​pumpkin ice cream. The ice cream sandwich was AMAZINGGGG. The cookies were delicous and had the PERFECT consistency. Not too hard, not too soft. They didn’t crack as we ate the sandwich. The ice cream was also heavenly and full of pumpkin flavor. It didn’t melt super fast and it didn’t ooze out of our sandwich as we ate it. It was pretty amazing how the sandwich kept its shape as we nommed. I could have easily eaten three more it was so good. Definitely gonna come back!

Ice cream sandwiches are super NOM! Perfect ratio of cookie to ice cream. LOTS of delicious ice cream with smallish cookies. I had the chocolate cookies with mint ice cream and devoured it. It is the perfect hand held treat. The ladies who work there are very sweet as well. Go try em!

AMAZING cookies! huge ice cream cookie sammiches! The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie is fantastic and has a nice caramelized bottom to it.

Awesome iced cream sandwiches, cupcakes and cookies. I love the sugar cookies and am still fantasizing about the vanilla bean cupcakes.

I’d forgotten there was such a thing as vegan sugar till eating their «Vegan Chocolate Snicker Doodle with Chocolate Ice Cream» $ 4. Had I known the stuff in it plus the jacket of granules on the snicker doodle was sugar, I probably would have passed on trying it. It was nevertheless a solid entry in the chocolate x chocolate field. Both women were really pleasant to speak with — ask about the big _​_​_​_​_​cookie piñata story.
