History
Established in 1993.
Originally opened in 1993 to mimic the espresso bars of Italy, Caffe 817 has drawn a loyal following. Scott and Emily Goldenberg took over in March 2011 and with culinary backgrounds, strive to keep the menu local and sustainable.

Scott and Emily G.
Business Owner
Scott and Emily pour their hearts and souls into Caffe 817. Both coming from culinary world, they plan the daily-changing special menu every week, and shop at the farmer’s market for ingredients. They bought Caffe 817 in March of 2011 and their resumes include Zuni Café, Oliveto, Dopo, and Acquerello restaurants.
