I believe in the infinite potential of each human being.

I see a deep-​seated ambition to be more than what we have become and a fierce dissatisfaction for settling for less than what we want.

I have come to understand this profound desire as merely to become what we are: powerful, wise and creative beings.

For many of us, reality is full of excuses, of getting stuck and escaping our fears and discomforts. We have lost sight of who we are, or maybe we’ve never really known. We catch glimpses here and there, like when we hear an inspiring story that moves us deeply. Yet we rarely see ourselves as heroes. We do not think of ourselves as capable of changing the world. We have forgotten our dreams and the hope of their realization.

What I am is a catalyst. I affect those around me. I can help you see yourself as you are. I look into your eyes and I see the endless potential and I believe.

I’m not here to change you. I’m here, because I’ve felt a call my entire life long to be more than what other said I could be. To be free. To be at peace. To be me. I’m here, because I want to share what I’ve learned, because many others have given me a hand when I needed it, or a kind encouragement, or a simple hug that said so much.

I was 12 when I left home to pursue my mother’s dream for me to become a priest. I was sent to a small town in New Hampshire where I spent 8 years in prayer, silence and study.

As a young man of 20, I left the monastery and found myself a stranger in a strange land. I was thrust into a world that I didn’t quite understand, but I had an innate lust for life and learned from all the new experiences: college, my first girlfriend, the books I read, discovering that I could dance, traveling to places that drew me.

All the while I was searching for purpose that morphed into intense self-​discovery that led me to leave the US to find home in South America. What I found was myself.

My eyes were opened and I saw a reality that I could amend as I saw fit. I realized I was a creative being, that there was nothing I couldn’t do. I began to see how I affected those around me by merely being myself. I was a catalyst, a guide, an instrument of what is.
