History
Established in 2011.
After four generations of growing and winemaking, the Tudal Family opened Cerruti Cellars in 2011. An urban wine center at the foot of Oakland’s burgeoning Jack London Square, Cerruti Cellars offers a one-of-a-kind tasting room and barrel room/event center. The city winery becomes the latest to open in Oakland’s increasingly exciting wine scene.
The location of Cerruti Cellars is historically significant to the Tudal Family as it is just around the corner from the century-old Produce Market in Oakland where John Tudal’s grandfather «Baci» Cerruti, his father Arnold, and he brought their harvests for commercial sale dating back to 1932. Cerruti Cellars is also directly across the street from the soon-to-open Jack London Marketplace, which will house artisanal food and wine purveyors.
