Their prices went way up from the last car wash that was here. New cast of guys working there. Same our busted out chairs.
When I started to drive away from the $ 10 increase in price the guy quoted me he started bringing his price down in)2 increments. I caved because the other place I go is much farther away.
They barely wiped off the dash — it was still dusty and the windows were streaky. And they took a long time.
Back to Touchless in Berkeley.

This place is in a very busy part of oakland where many of my clients live. I had a sick client in my car so went here to clean the car immediately to avoid further contamination to someone else. To my surprise this place took very good care of my car. They cleaned it inside out, cleaned the tires and sprayed it with air freshener. All for under $ 16. As I got ready to leave I was told because its ladies day I get a free rose. FYI ladies day is Tuesday I believe.

When to charlottes web to get my car detailed (buff), talked to the guy who does buffing, he wanted to over charge me for buffing… saying that I would also need to pay for car wash + wax + buff… then I decided to leave and the owner (lady) came out and said no no no you don’t pay that price, you just pay for buffing and I’m like okay do it (should have just left!) then when it comes to buffing my car, all they did wash it, wax it, and lightly I mean lightly buff it, didn’t remove any residue! DEFINITELY WILL GO THERE AGAIN!!! Save your money and go else where!

So I get there and they took in my car really fast, I didn’t have to wait.
But then, they started collecting all the trash on the floor of my car and tossing it on the floor and it flew out onto the street and the sidewalk. So first, while they were cleaning out my trash, I was running around the street and sidewalk picking up what they littered and throwing it in the trash.
Then I sat down and would get up to check on the car every few minutes. First, she started just packing stuff into my trunk for no reason, and then she asked me to remove all my cables and put them in the glove compartment.
After I did all that, I sat down again. Then she came and told me she was done. I got up, emptied the trunk and asked her to vacuum it too.
Then she said she was done, I asked her for a towel and had to give the dashboard a wipe and the doors because they were still so dirty.
That was wasted money for sure, I wish I’d just done this at home. Not worth a single dollar I paid.

So i came here to get my car washed, and they did a less than acceptable job; there was still some soap suds on the car and i had to point out an area they missed and completely forgot to scrub. The WORST part was that one worker stepped in the puddle of mud as he got into my car, dirtying my carpet. Thanks dude! This place was too ghetto for my liking. The only reason i gave two stars and not one because the owner was nice enough to give me a discount, a rose, and free quick headlight service.

With the change in ownership and business name came a higher price and some bad decisions among staff. As always, they do a fast and decent job. At $ 20 for a thorough inside and out, the convenient location is what keeps bringing me back. It amazed me to watch the owner have to tell an employee that he needed to put out the cigarette he lit (sitting in someone’s car) while halfway through cleaning a car. Both times I’ve been here recently the place reeks of pot.

I recently went to get my car washed by my house at a place formally called Feddie Eddies or Eddie Freddies I can’t rember the name, and found out that it’s now called Charlotte’s Web and has new owners, my car was filthy inside and out, a basic carwash inside and out was only $ 20.00 and my car was done in about 30 mins, they have a jumper for the kids, and Dino the person that washed my car was very plesant and professional, the only thing that bothered me was how loud the music was its so loud that you can’t even talk on your cell phone and there wasn’t enought customer seating.
