Literally the best. I have had facials on and off for the last 15 years to deal with acne, and Ann Marie is the best skin care professional I have ever met! My skin is consistently flawless due to her facials and the skin care routine she set up for me.
For this exceptional skill and service, the prices are reasonable and she offers an organic line as well. The facials she gives are thorough and really cleanse your skin in a way you cannot do at home. They also make you feel so great! I have sent my boyfriend and friends to her too!

Ann Marie is a wonderful practitioner and really knows what she’s doing when it comes to skin care. She careful is considering what is best for each person’s needs and outcome. She takes great care in her work and provides a wonderful facial experience. The space is also beautiful and comfortable! I have seen her quite a few times for various different treatments, and each one makes my skin look better and better!

Have been going to see Anne Marie off and on for years. I have really sensitive skin with dry patches. I cannot tolerate too much in terms of cleansers and skin care products. I recently began having breakouts which were not normal for me. Anne Marie provided education about the changes of my skin and provided treatment that made me feel back to my old self!

After a session with Ann Marie you will realize that every other facial you have had was a farce engineered by kindergartners in comparison. If you have skin issues, she will help you resolve them, not just try to sell you products. Additionally, Ann Marie is just a down to earth person who is easy to relax with.

AnnMarie is the best! She is very knowledgeable and great in what she do. My skin never look better. She got rid of the sun spots on my face and always reminds me to put on my sunscreen and to exfoliate. I am bad at the being on a régime but now I learn to be consistent and the result pays. A follow-​up to my previous review, as I think it worth mentioning how much my mom and I continue to value Ann Marie. My wedding took place recently and I of course wanted to have the best possible face for the event, especially considering what stress does to my skin (not good things). I completely credit Ann Marie for the fact that both my skin and my mom’s were pretty much perfect by the time the big day arrived. My mother, especially, received compliments about how great her skin looked, a pleasant experience for someone 60+! We continue to trust Ann Marie completely, and will keep on doing so.

Annemarie has taken care of my skin for over 10 years. She is a professional in skincare. What I love the most about her is that she keeps herself up to date in products and treatments making the experience a very enjoyable one. She is also clean, careful and detail oriented. Whenever I have a trip I ask her for tips to take care of my skin while away.

Ann Marie is a very gifted aesthetician and her facials are salutary. They actually help your skin and you will indeed see long term results. I cannot recommend the facial part enough. Her products are top notch organic and wonderful. These facials really do work.
But… I stopped going after being a regular client for awhile. (which is why 4 stars) Other places have provided a shoulder or arm massage while a masque is setting, Ann Marie leaves you alone for ten minutes. Also, and this seems so petty to write, but I’m trying to leave a review — I found the conversation we had difficult to keep up and rather negative in tone. I’d prefer to relax in silence than try to commiserate with the everyday trials of somebody else’s life. Does that make me a bitch? Probably.

If you agree that facials are both essential and intimate, then go to Ann Marie at Chez Aesthete. When you trust your face to her, you can trust that you’ll be in the hands of an angel with the knowledge of a truly trusted professional. Her space is a true oasis and her organic products are delicious to the skin. She left my skin feeling new again.

I have had very difficult skin since I was a teenager and with acne still lingering and rosacea worsening in my early 50s, I finally took my hair cutter’s advice and made an appointment with Ann Marie about two years ago. I have been to innumerable dermatologists over the years and had treatments ranging from antibiotics to getting zapped with a machine, but nothing worked as well as Ann Marie’s facials and following her sound advice on using good products. She is extremely knowledgeable and very good about educating someone like me about how to get good results. I try to see her once a month for a facial and my teenage son sees her occasionally for acne facials. I highly recommend her.

It has been two years since I started seeing Anne Marie. My skin (pretty good to begin with) has improved its appearance since getting a regular 4 – 6 week facial. I am much more confident in how my face looks, and I am always so glad to spend the time (rather relaxing) and money in order to put forth my best, most confident, freshest face to the world.
I found Anne Marie through Unilocal,and the positive reviews made me comfortable enough to take the plunge (at 26, I’d never gotten a facial before.) I hope my review makes others comfortable as well. As a new client, she tells you what she is doing every step of the way, which calmed my anxiety about a very new and very personal experience. She hasn’t stopped telling me what she’s doing before she does it, but I now have no qualms about having someone (her only!!!) touch my face. (I’m not a big fan of people getting up close and personal with my face.)
I enjoy chatting with Anne Marie while she goes about her business. She is both professional and wise in matters of the world, which I appreciate. But let’s talk about her actual services! The facials are awesome. They are just what I need to maintain a good complexion. If my skin doesn’t look all that great, well, it’s because I’m not eating well or sleeping enough or am too stressed. Her facials revitalize and en-​healthen my face (yes, I just made that word up!)
I’ve never felt uncomfortable or awkward about anything with Anne Marie. I tried to have her wax my underarms once, and it was too painful for me to bear, but it was entirely ok when I told her «Aaah, I can’t take this!!!» No problem, there was no awkwardness there. Also, as she assesses your skin and does her thing, she’ll let you know if you might peel (it happens) or if you let her know that a product didn’t work (caused an adverse reaction) she handles it very professionally, without any awkward feeling generated. I very much appreciate her skill in this highly personal arena.

At my first visit to Chez Aesthete — the first thing I noticed is that Ann Marie has amazing taste in furnishings: it’s truly an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, inviting, clean, lightly feminine and warm.
Ann Marie a high level of professionalism and my deluxe facial was a very enjoyable experience. She uses all organic products and I felt completely safe in her capable hands.
My skin felt fantastic after I left and it definitely looks much improved. I have hyper-​sensitive skin and she meticulously monitored the reactions to the products and I did not have any redness, bumps or other adverse effects after this facial.
I’m looking forward to setting up my next appointment so I can get some forward momentum in improving my skin and getting to «maintenance» mode.

I’ve been getting treatments from Anne Marie for about 3 years now and I have to say, I haven’t found a more satisfying experience even when I’ve been gifted facials or been out of town and visited other spas. I first called because of a skin issue that I needed advice on, I wasn’t sure if an aesthetician or a dermatologist was the solution and Anne Marie suggested I come in for a consultation. She gave me an overview of the skin stages and what was happening to me at that current time. It was certainly treatable with the services she offered so I decided to make an appointment (after speaking with a half dozen other aestheticians, I felt most comfortable with Anne Marie’s experience and her «take» on what I needed specifically for noticeable results). When I came home my husband said I was «glowing» and wanted to know if I had gotten a new haircut – found that highly amusing! She has been treating my skin conditions with utmost care and professionalism and really ‘GETS’ under your skin to extract, smooth, and beautify you. I always leave feeling youthful and anew even if she raked my skin (this is a good thing mind you). She uses quality grade skincare products (I have researched them all online) and truthfully advises on what you do or do not need – I do not feel pressured to purchase anything yet I do because I authentically enjoy the products. I also enjoy that Anne Marie is a small boutique business and I like to support hardworking professional women who have great talent and are passionate about their work.

It was my first visit to Anne Marie and will continue to visit her for my monthly facials. She mentioned she has had some of her clients for 10 plus years, and I totally understand.
I’m not sure what products she uses (I know they are clinical grade), but whatever it is, it makes your skin glow, radiant, and pores tighten up. I usually wear some make-​up to cover blemishes, however, it takes the luster out of the natural glow of my skin. After her facial, I’ve only worn tinted moisturizer, and am so pleased with the tightness, cleanliness, and glow of my skin.
She knows her stuff, and totally recommend going to her. On top of the facial itself, her place is comfortable, relaxing and clean. It’s quite the treat to go there. I highly recommend people to try her out-​either those going to see other people for their facials, and younger clientele looking to begin taking better care of their skin. There is never too early of a time to start.
