Deli Fresh

Big sandwich, yes they are fresh and supposedly make their roast beef there, but it didn’t taste like anything special or had much flavor. It was something I could have made at home better than this place. I’ll give it to them that they are fast and efficient with ok prices but nothing I’ll remember to come back to.

This review is for the salad bar only, I haven’t tried the sandwiches. They have an impressive variety of options for such a tiny space, including prepared dishes like thai chicken noodles, sushi, macaroni salad, etc. The food is cheap, and the service is very efficient. No need to wait in the sandwich line if you’re just doing the salad bar. A great place to go if you want a delicious cold lunch fast.

Great place for lunch. Fresh salad bar and sandwiches are always delicious. Good prices for the sandwich! This places gets busy so get your lunch before noon! ;)

Fast and fresh food. Great, soft bread, large selections of snacks and chips, drinks and amazing variety of sandwich possibilities. The salad bar has fresh and frequently refreshed fixings.

I went there for a quick lunch sandwich and I ordered Veggie sandwich which is Avocado and Cheese with sprouts and listed vegetables. You can select sauce’s, bread and cheese type.
They also have a salad bar which looked quite nice for the price. Very reasonable as compare to other place I had been.
Would love to go there again!

I come here on a regular basis. Yesterday however I asked them why they were charging $ 0.85 more than normal, and was told that this was because it was after eleven, and that they raise their prices during lunch time, for the same exact foods. I let the owner know I wasn’t happy, especially when there are no signs alerting customers of this price increase during lunch time. Can’t wait to share this with my co-​workers.

First time here, my sandwich was made very quickly and built well. The lettuce is crunchy, the bread soft, it all tastes fresh. I will definitely make this my new sandwich shop. Friendly staff too.

I work closed by and this is my go to place for sandwiches and salads. I love three layer club, with bacon, ham & turkey. It is a high stack sandwich with the all of the fixings too. The price is about 7 bucks. What I really is that they are clean, the workers have on gloves and they remove them to do other work, like take cash and clean up. They have soup a and a fully stock salad and sushi, that is a nice change. Enjoy!

The best salad bar in this area. Reminds me of the style of deli’s in NYC. .. Wish there were more options of food, but its very good for the size. Breakfast sandwiches are a good price as well. under $ 5. ..

If you’re looking for a quick cheap lunch sandwich or salad, Deli Fresh is perfect! The food is wonderful, the service is quick and friendly and for the price it’s great. If you work in Uptown, I’d highly consider adding it to the weekly rotation!

I absolutely LOVE this place. I eat here several times a week, I should be part owner by now lol. The one thing that wins me over everytime is CONSISTENCY. this place is consitently fresh, consistently delicious and I’m consistenly satisfied. I wish this place was not just so close to work but I wish it was right outside my front door. I’d always have fresh, healthy delicious satisfying options. When I eat out for lunch at work, this is the best and only choice! You will not be disappointed

This place is a study in efficiency. The women that work here can make your sandwich (almost) faster than you can order it. Its crazy. I’ve never seen a sandwich shop run so smoothly.
They also have a pay by weight salad bar in the back if you like to move at your own pace.
I love their bagels in the morning. Toasted to perfection with a healthy helping of cream cheese. Yes please.

Great selection of awesome delicious sandwich ingredients (minus one star because I would like to see more super-​grain breads).

Nice location. The sandwich place next door on the left is overrated and over-​priced. Check out Deli Fresh instead.

It’s a good spot to grab coffee in the AM, as it’s always ready, piping hot and strong. Bagels are decent, can’t complaint about their generosity of cream cheese but man, do they lay it on thick!
I’ve only had lunch here once and had their turkey sandwich which was actually really good. No Oscar Meyer, prepackaged, turkey here; it was legit roasted turkey! The only other place I’ve had a true turkey sandwich like this was at Harry’s Hof Brau. It was pretty good and for the quality, it was cheap.
The staff, they’re friendly for the most part but can sometimes be just a bit abrasive, but far, far, from rude by any means.

BOTTOM LINE AT THE TOP: Amazing value for a quick and easy sandwhich lunch option in Uptown Oakland.
I consider myself a bit of a lunch location conoscere in the East Bay. If you’re looking for a something fast and easy, I got you covered, or maybe a good location for a business lunch, I can give you options, or maybe you’re looking for something «off the grid» and not on the trending wire quite yet… I’ll send you in the right direction…
But if there is anything I love to promote over everything else, it’s good quality, great value. And for that, you need look no further than Deli Fresh.
They have all the requirements needed to create a winning sandwich (fresh produce, a good selection of bread choices, quality portions of meats {try there house-​made roast beef!}), and tons of add on options.
Couple that with speedy and attentive — if not overly friendly — staff and almost wholesale prices and that equals a go-​to-​lunch spot that you can throw on your calendar every week (or if you’re me… every other working day).
Yeah, it can get a bit crazy come lunch hour, and I cannot vouch for the salad bar at all, and they don’t offer anything fancy like hipster-​bottled jalapeño pickle spears or Monte Cristo sandwiches atop toasted Acme challah, they just make good sandwiches for a more than fair price.

Deli Fresh … This was my daily stop for breakfast when I worked next door. The staff is highly attentive and helpful. The food is always fresh and tasteful, I would normally get breakfast sandwiches on a bagel or muffin. The salad bar was also a big winner during lunch hours. The prices and service is amazing!
I would highly recommend anyone looking for a yummy quick and low priced meal to stop by Deli Fresh.

Fresh (not packed slice) white meat turkey with everything within a few minutes of ordering? The biggest salad bar on the west coast! Very fast and friendly employees who actually remember your last sandwich order? This place is great!
But they do take credit/​debit cards from jerks who charge $ 6.00 and hold up the line. Cash please?

Just an update… Always FRESH, always bountiful with choices, and always quick! This place is reliable and though they have increased their prices slightly, this joint is still my go-​to when I’m lunchless at work and/​or feel like I’ve been eating poorly.

Deli Fresh sells make ur own salad, sammies, coffee. not a salad muncher so.
