Dentistry 2000 & Beyond

Dr Fudgen has been my primary dentist for 2 years now and I have no complaints. We have formulated a sound plan for my dental health moving forward that keeps my best interests in mind, including cost. This is in contrast to previous dentists who seem to always recommend things that would cost way more than I could afford.
I’ve had 2 crowns done by Dr Fudgen, and he and his assistant Janet have been great at carrying out the procedures and making sure I am comfortable. I don’t really worry too much about getting dental work done here due to their welcoming nature and their experience.

Very welcoming office with an affable staff. Janet took care of my x-​rays in a kind an professional manner. Dr Fudgen knew his stuff and explained it in an easy to understand way. I will be coming back for all my dental work.

Went today for the first time. Needed a dentist close to work and thought I’d give them a try. Had a great experience with a friendly and professional staff. Dr Fudgen was great and took time to discuss my treatment plan. I appreciated his thorough exam and explanations.
Traci the hygienist did a fabulous job on my cleaning and was very thorough.
Overall great experience and I could take care of my dental work on my lunch

Dr. Fudgen is rather nice, but his office manager is the reason I will never be back! She’s rude and had no idea what she’s doing. Until he fires her I will be frequenting a new dentist office

I had a really bad experience at near by dentist. My previous dentist did a «routine» filling for me, for days/​weeks post the fillings my teeth were hurting, when I went back the dentist he began to do a root canal that he was not qualified to do on my teeth– (without even telling me what he was doing). He didn’t finish it and told me to go too a specialist.
I was in so much pain, so I found Dr. Fudgen online and thought his rating were good. When I entered his office the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Dr. Fugden quickly told me that I needed to see a specialist. While I was still in his chair, his staff found me a specialist that took my insurance and got me an appointment for the following day!
A few weeks later I went back to Dr. Fudgen to get my crown and had the same pleasant experience. Dr. Fudgen is very nice, has good energy and explains everything he is doing, before he does it. Plus I referred a friend, so I got $ 50 off my copay #score
You wont be disappointed!

I broke a tooth-​they got me in the SAME DAY to do an emergency crown. The next morning, Dr. Fudgen called me to check in on me! Just to make sure I was doing okay and to tell me to call him if I felt anything uncomfortable. The entire office staff was friendly, warm, responsive. They sat down with me to explain my insurance and what they would cover.
Also, if you refer a friend you get $ 100 and your friend gets $ 50 credit. A friend referred me, so I got $ 50 off the amount I had to pay out of pocket (the part my insurance wouldn’t pay).

AVOID THIS PLACE: In March of 2010 I went in to Dentistry 2000 for a routine cleaning and by midnight the same day my jaw locked and was in severe pain. Upon examination by maxofacial surgery, they discovered my jaw was sprained. It’s now December 2012 and I am STILL in pain. I have had to seek professional care from outside the dental community to deal with this pain, including a jaw joint aspiration that was VERY painful. This event has literally changed my life — I can no longer enjoy foods that I did in the past and I am in constant pain. I immediately complained to Dr Fudgen’s office about it and they’ve never even apologized. However, they sure did call to ask if I wanted to come in for a cleaning more than once. I finally had to tell the person to LOSE MY NUMBER bcz every time they call me it makes me FUME and that NO I don’t appreciate their dumb birthday cards every year!
The sprain was really what broke the camels back. I had already gotten bad vibes from this office when they kept insisting that I have additional procedures done «bcz my insurance wants it». My response: «Ah, NO, actually my insurance prefers if you don’t give me x-​rays every year! Hello, they can really care less!» Also, they kept pushing the Rododent toothbrush, even though I said on more than one occasion that I already have an electric toothbrush that I am very satisfied with. Needless to say, Dentistry 2000 and Dr Fudgens and his staff have made me keenly aware of the dark world of shady dental offices. I am NEVER going to this office again and you should avoid it too!
Lastly, I would question the 5 star reviews… Again — SHADY!
***UPDATE*****
Dr Fudgens worked on a cavity filling about 2 years ago. When he first put it in I told him it felt too large and my teeth didn’t feel flushed. He said he looked at it and that it looked fine. He said he used the markers and that the filling looked like a perfect fit. A couple weeks ago I went to a different denist and asked them to remove that filling and redo it. Lo and behold, my jaw pain has been getting better and better since the filling was fixed. So not only was my jaw sprained during the cleaning, but the subpar work had been preventing the sprain from healing for the past two years!
RUN don’t walk as far away from Dr Fudgen’s and this office as quickly as possible!

I have been a patient for over 5 years and have been very satisfied with the cleanings and veneer /​filling work I received from Dr. Fudgen and his staff.

The billing issues referred to by the other review have been cleared up, new staff hired, and a letter of a apology sent out to all Dr. Fudgen’s customers from Dr. Fudgen. Apparently he had a former staff member who was embezzling from him and practicing insurance fraud. Apparently when he became aware of it, he immediately contacted the authorities and took action against that individual. Dr. Fudgen’s new billing staff are professional and helpful.
I’ve received nothing but excellent care from this provider. I suggest you give him a second look.
